Some porn games have unrealistic characters and storylines, and other porn games have realistic characters and storylines. They aren't all the same. This game leans more to the realistic side. But even in the unrealistic games, it's not a universal rule that women like to be blackmailed or raped, so you don't have a good argument there.

Just because there are some other games out that do it that way doesn't mean that you should assume that's how it is in all games. And it certainly doesn't mean that you should act like it doesn't make sense to take a realistic approach.



You don't need to apologize for what you do or don't like. Just like I'm not apologizing for what I like.



Again, just because you've seen some porn games which are unrealistic, that doesn't make it a rule for all porn games. Many porn games, just like many porn films, are intended to be more realistic. There are scores (probably hundreds) of porn games on this forum which take a serious tone and treat the story and the characters as if they were real. This is one of those games.

Sure it does, in many ways and at many times. Perhaps you've only watched "pizza delivery" or "pool boy" porn, but if you would take the time to do even a little bit of research, you would find that porn feature films have been around since the 1970s, and that they often take themselves seriously and attempt to tell stories in a realistic way.

Take a look at the feature films produced by Wicked. About half of them attempt to tell realistic stories. Or take a look at the feature films from Digital Playground, before MindGeek bought them out. They were almost all attempts at telling realistic stories. Look at the feature films produced by Sweet Sinner or Girlfriend Films or New Sensations. Or go a little further back in time and look at the feature films from Candida Royalle's production company, Femme Productions. Or check out most of Paul Thomas' films for Vivid.

There are thousands of porn films which try to tell realistic stories. Some of the acting is good, and some of the acting is bad, and the same can be said for the writing and the directing - some good, some bad. But the films themselves try to tell realistic stories with realistic characters.

You've got me wondering how much "experience" in porn you have, yourself. It's obvious that it can't be much, since you're ignorant of huge sections of the porn industry today, to say nothing of the history of porn.

As for my having no clue about what adult movies are, I've been watching porn films for longer than most of the people using this forum have been alive. I go back to the days when we used to rent porn on VHS tapes out of the back rooms of local video stores, because that was one of the few ways to get porn. I remember what a big deal it was when online porn VHS sales started up in the mid-1990s.

You talk a big talk, but it looks to me like it's probably hot air. You're making assumptions about what other people on this forum do and don't know, but, at the same time, you're putting your own ignorance on display for everyone to see.

No, I get it. You're saying that you played some other games in which some girl was being blackmailed or raped, and she discovered that she actually liked it. And maybe she fell in love with her blackmailer/rapist. And that's fine. Such games do exist, and I have no problem with them. I've played some of them, myself.

But you started out by saying that you couldn't understand why that wasn't happening in this game. And that's just silly. It's not as if all porn games use the approach you prefer when dealing with blackmail or rape. It's not as if there aren't a ton of other games which take a more realistic approach. And, if you had been paying attention to the story in this game, you should have been able to tell that this is one of the games which tries to be a bit more realistic with how the characters and situations are written.

If you had just said, "I prefer games in which the girl likes being blackmailed or raped", then I would have said something like "I prefer a more realistic approach, but to each their own." Instead, you acted like it didn't make sense for a porn game to handle this type of content realistically. And that's the basis of our disagreement. Of course it makes sense to handle these themes as realistically as you can, when you're trying to tell a story that feels real to the player.

"Walking Simulator" is what many people call the RPGM game engine, since you spend about half your time playing just walking around to get to where the actual scenes are activated.

I would like to thank the developer for making this, it's awesome. Great characters, great renders, and most importantly a truely great story and I really can't help but feel for Aoife. I think she is one of the most interesting characters and can't wait to find out more of her story.
