So, I have to critize the newest version or better said, the direction the game takes. Because the game is in imminent danger of becoming a Moddy & Paul Blackmail Sim. The game is on the edge of a massive imbalance!
Lisa is still at school, in my opinion we are meant to corrupt her and getting more and more spicy and kinky scenes with her throughout the days. But meanwhile it looks like she's full time working at Moddy's? What about the many locations in the game where all started? The café, the park, the three different jobs, the school setting, the park next to the school, the forest, Theo's bar, the son of Viv, more with the highschool football guys? The spa, the clothing store, the red light district, Lisa jogging, etc. etc! Another encounter with Duncan, after a party at school for example on her way home, drunk. So to say the usage of the current available locations with the current available characters is now lacking way too much. The many possibilities to corrupt her slowly have been layed aside!
This results in the problem, if the dev wants to progress on this locations someday (hopefully), Lisa's behaviour with Moddy doesn't fit with all those locations and possible events there, at least if you want to implement a believable corruption, she is way to far with Moddy to connect to the early places. A negative example is one of the two events at Moddy's. Where Moddy comes in and she gives him a blowjob on the cheating route. No regrets or problems that Danny could enter the room. While the Byron event is exactly what I meant, that's how it should go, it was hot and kinda slow! But the Lisa with her behaviour in one event is a different Lisa than on the other event! It doesn't make sense.
And for me personally there is a reason for that. The poll some months ago, shorter and more or longer and less scenes. The longer and less scenes won. As far as I understand the alpha post of Palegrass, he is again "happy" to be done with those very long scenes. So we have here another danger of a burnout or boreout of the dev. Torturing himself to do long scenes. And those long scenes don't drive the events on all the many other locations and possibilites I mentioned earlier and lead to an imbalance, to a Moddy & Paul blackmail sim.
What spicy and kinky smaller scenes you can make on all those locations and corrupt her more and more. But if it goes on like this, she became already mindless fuckmeat. THere is no reason to corrupt her more and more in other places and events. The Paul scene is way too much (not what Paul tries but the other guys). They should first try something on their own and later on in the game it happens they find out Paul is having his claws in her and join him for example.
Maybe Palegrass sees some valid arguments here and rethinks what he originally wanted, how Lisa gets corrupted and the path for her in the game. And maybe he rethinks the less and longer scenes and goes more in the Byron scene direction (again). Patreons are there to support you to create the game you want, not to "pay" to have the saying how the game should be in their opinion. And if the game turns into something that the dev doesn't want, because of a poll, than it should be revoked. And I say, the game is going in a direction which wasn't there in the beginning (which made me love this game). But maybe he changed his opinion about it meanwhile, if this new direction is Palegrass' vision now, then it is how it is, it's _your_ game of course!
Longer scenes definitely yes. As a highlight, every two or three updates. Shorter scenes as standard, different people, different locations (which are already there) to corrupt her more slowly. You could even implement longer scenes for meanigful changes of Lisa. For example she reached a level of corruption where she finally (forced or not) would strip in a club. This, as a long scene, would be awesome. Or something again, later in the game, she prostitutes herself (in a backalley, in brothel, whatever), her first prostitution event as long scene with introduction etc. Oh man, that would be awesome!
Don't get me wrong, Lisa is still so freakin' hot, the renders are awesome and your writing of the scenes is excellent! But it is too much, making the game one sided, because there are so many open strings to follow (or at least I thought we could) which aren't followed anymore because of all your effort (which is phenomenal) goes into those long scenes. I mean maybe you could benefit from it to. You can plan and render a long scene over two or three updates, no anncouncement, only teasing, no time pressure. Today not in the mood to work on the longer scene? You could do this event, that event, drive the story forward, new quests.
I hope it is clear I do not critisize Palegrass' working morale, his renders' quality or his story telling within the scenes, which is all phenomenal! I praise you! It's simply the pace and direction the game is going meanwhile.
P.S.: To clarify one thing because I mentioned the two Moddy "heart symbol events". I am not against them. On the contrary, I love those mini events. Free roaming in a RPGM game and suddenly there is a heart symbol. Oh that's exciting I love it. But this is way too early, too much (not with Danny!, but with Moddy!). More events (with increasing kink) like the groping event in the 7/11 or when she's on her way to the clothing store. So many places you can make many little more and more intense events for more excitement, variety and suprise!
