idk how anyone gets their humanity out of -. im stuck at like -3. but i feel my choices best suit the MCs persona while still being capable of loving his girls. after all, his enemies are vast, he needs a little cold clinical killer in him to keep everyone safe while still being able to express emotions. like retribution when its called for.

I'm a bit conflicted about the impact of your past choices. Part of me likes seeing the consequences of my choices but another part of me feels like my past choices are robbing me of the opportunity of making choices in the future. Maybe the consequences should be limited to flavor/dialogue/attitude without locking in the characters' actions.

At the same time, it's not an approach I'm used to seeing so I appreciate that it breaks from the norm.

I think I like it for this game but maybe not as a model to follow.

I find this interesting as a structure of storytelling. In the typical VN, you make a choice and the effect of that choice is realized rather immediately. This gives you an idea if this is the right or wrong choice fairly quickly. However, life doesn't often work like that. Sometimes consequences of poor choices are not realized for weeks, months, or even decades. Often, the difference between a good or bad choice is the extent to which it narrows your options in the future. This is something that I do appreciate about this story.

Yep, I'd say the whole thing is going over your head. I've tried about 500 games on this site, and this is one of 14 in my S tier. If it's not your thing, that's cool. Nothing appeals to everyone but your criticisms just don't hold up.
Thank you for telling me of, cus man i enjoyed it a lot. I didn't like Jessies model cus i thought , here we go another dev trying to do the thing trying their best to skirt the guidelines but I'm glad I was wrong. tldr good shit would recommend
