Well, for starters, he’s not a love interest (LI), so the MC can’t have sex with him. I get that he has four kids, and yeah, that sucks, but our dear developer clearly operates on a different wavelength of logic. Maybe they rolled a dice and thought, "Yep, that guy dies." Who knows?

Why not you?
Because you’re in the LI circle (and don’t even think about asking 'What if I'm not an LI?). Most importantly, my MC can sleep with you. And according to the Universal Declaration of VN Logic, no developer in their right mind would kill off a perfectly good LI—especially one who’s hot as hell . Killing an LI is like throwing away a legendary item in an RPG. You just don’t do that.

It’s always disappointing to see an LI’s story take that turn—killing them off, only to bring them back later. But in the end, it’s the developer’s vision, and they can do whatever they want. If it serves the story, that’s fine. But if it’s just for unnecessary drama or stalling for time, then it’s more frustrating than impactful.

Also I wouldn't take F95 rating as something that fully reflects reality.

You forgot that he was one of the cops who tried to frame mc about dawn's ex-husband when they were pretending investigating dylan's disappearance. He's the one that mc call "altar boy" when he's talking about priest being "craddle robbers".
Trying to harm the hero of a story never end well (except in ntr story!).

By the way, did somebody notice how simon has build muscle between two episode?

Without meaning to contradict you but i played 3 visual novel, so far, where an li died. The one you are talking about with the fire, one where the widow of a man killed by a bad guy is killed herself by a sniper, and one where the li is suicidal and jump from a bridge (this one i'm not actually sure if she died because i never finished the game being in a bad place when i was playing it). Of the three i'm mentioning all three are rated 4.5 stars which is technically the highest rating on F95.

My opinion is that it can work if the writer can make a story compelling enough to justify the death and not use it only as a way to take the audience by surprise (shock value). But that's just my opinion, and i wouldn't dare to make it seems like the general point of view.

When the game fades to a black screen sometimes (fb1.png), it doesn't cover the full width of 1920x1080 as the image's dimensions are 1900x1200. I've fixed that.
Copy my image to the game's game/images folder and replace the original one.

EchoFoxtrot, you can also show a black screen in scripts by "scene black" without the need for any extra image file what should work much better for any resolution.
If you like to create a smooth fade out and in you could use something like this:

scene 5d34 with Fade(2.0, 2.0, 2.0)

To save typing and use different timers you can use definitions:

Really love the soccer matches in between that distracts nicely from the trouble these characters often have. I hope we are still going to see some further matches instead of only summaries.

The reason I ask is that when I do screenshots for VNs (I do WAAAAAYYYYY to many!) I pick something consistent or the naming convention - day number is my favorite if the Dev makes it obvious and easy to track, but I'll also use things like release/chapter, etc. I was using release/chapter with you, but you went and messed with your release naming convention!

I'm picking up where I think .42-3 (so beginning of .43-2) left off, and a screen tells me Day 11 is starting, which I'll be using for my naming convention. I don't remember this from before, but I might be able to go back and rename my old shots by scanning through image files, but if you already have something easy I can reference, that would be great too, even if it's just as simple as "this release covered day 1 and day 2, this one only day 3, the next was day 4 and 5" or whatever you might have lying around or that can be done in a 5 minute break. Just want to rename my stuff for the first 10 days. If you don't, like I said, I can probably scan through the image files (don't need to UnRen!) and work it out. I'm just a pirate, so, please, don't go out of your way.

Looking forward to catching up - way behind on all of my VNs and have missed this one.

You're absolutely right I made a dog's dinner of my update names, but yeah the days are the best indicator and I have added notifications in the game between the updates now.

Not all VNs have a replay gallery, so instead of doing something like using back pages to save at the beginning of each interesting scene, I got into the habit of taking a lot of shots so that I can open my image save folder for the VN and "replay" the scene using my photo editor as sort of a slideshow thing. Even with a gallery, I still do it - I've done a lot of meme making in the past and put together some .gifs, and being able to quickly find shots of scenes from favorite VNs makes the process faster. Of course, these days, most of that is happening at another venue since this place doesn't like that kind of thing.

You miss quite a lot of content by going with Foxy alone. I recommend having Christa and Amira too.

The Bunny content you miss is mc cheating on Foxy. Nothing connected to the bigger plot.
