Have you added the above fix to the game? Maybe that might solve it
It seems that you only need to copy the lifewithelf_sf.sav file and it does unlock the gallery if that's what you're looking for. Also not sure if you need the fix that Lich Immortal pointed out:
BUT, it was the first thing I tried so if only copying the one file doesn't work for you, then grab the file Lich linked to and try again.
Reminder to self to scroll a bit on page 1. Just wasted 2 hours stuck on Compound lv 13 and cook 10 while can't do anything else than recovery potion and food cook at best. While the fix literally a bit below this post.

This game could be a gem if it wasn't for the grind(granted the grind get easier after you obtain some item) and the unclear requirement for some event to proc.
A quest progress indicator would be helpful instead of just leaving player hanging with not knowing what to do to progress in game.

'Tis a bug. Dev is aware. Localization seems to be the problem.
There is an unofficial fix in this thread, but requires QuickBMS by the looks of it.

I think it was fixed in 1.0.7, it's just that nobody has uploaded the newest version yet.

The fixes this and several other issues besides. If you download the "big patch" from the pixeldrain link you can just unpack it in the game directory. If you download the "mini patch" you have to do more work.
Hopefully this'll be fixed in 1.0.7+ but there's no telling when that will get uploaded here.
Choose this instead of "Applications", one of the four exes is the correct one, not sure if it's the same for everyone but mine is the second last.
i edited the money in the lifewithelf_tyrano_data file. you can also changed your health and LP in it as well.

you have to click the options over and over again. atleast thats what did it for me.
