How's the Ren'py remake going, if you don't mind me asking?As unlikely as it might be, I hope you all enjoy and are satisfied with how everything wraps up.
Also, I take it that since the RPGM game is wrapping up, we'll get a new thread going for the Ren'py version when that's released, right?

So it goes from hardcore porn with deviant characters exploring their kinks to a romcom? Anyone else thinking that has something to do with how the patrons got bent over the attempt to add in dad-daughter content a few updates back?

Actually I think it's more to do with the fact that this game has had a few different writers and this has evolved the storytelling as the game has gone on.

It seemed to really change quite drastically though around when that dad-daughter content was made. Suddenly all the romantic story elements were added in without leading into it naturally over time just to calm the irate patrons. I just hope whoever is writing this romcom nonsense makes it worthwhile cause this really was a game mainly about kinks and the characters being straight up deviants. Changing the characters that fast just doesn't hold up if they're aiming for making an actual story now. Should have been done gradually instead of rushed but oh well I guess. I'll at least wait and see what the future update looks like when they continue it.

Well, again, I think the reason for the characters changing is because the game is trying to have a story now whereas in its earlier incarnations it was just a mindless fuck-fest, and this will be down to the influence of different writers. However, I don't agree that the characters, or at least Mia, changed quickly. It actually feels like a natural progression from 'sex for pleasure' to 'sex for love'. The MC is still a huge deviant as he's ready, willing and able to fuck anything he takes a liking to, but I'm personally hoping that the Ren'py remakes tone that down a bit and tighten up the story to not only make it more consistent, but also more focussed on the growing relationship of Mia and the MC.It seemed to really change quite drastically though around when that dad-daughter content was made.
