It has nothing to do with the remake.Last update was working on Windows 8...This one, it doesn't and I wonder why.Clearly the remade version was running on older versions of windows.Why should it be different from one update to another?
The question was not pointed to the devr intentions anyway.I asked if there is any fix for older versions of Windows so we can run the game or not.

A better way is to update to Windows 10 at least, because most of the dev will now use Ren'Py 8.4.1 with Python 3.12.
And the problem is with Python which is no more ported on Windows 7 and lower.
But if you want to continue with Windows 7, install the latest Ren'Py SDK7 version 7 et launch the via the SDK GUI.

Cant update to windows 10, windows is discontinuing all support soon, and theyre pushing for 11 hard now, most things will be 11 only going forward from what I hear

Just my opinion, but the look of the MC is awful. Bald head, baby face, he looks like a 13 year old who is getting chemo treatments. I'll still play through to check it out cause the animations look very good, but the MC's appearance just really ruins any immersion for me.

Yeah, very similar to my impressions of him. Vicky needs some chap-stick real badly, too.
