Mod Abandoned LL Game mods for Lifeplay

I completely agree if there working. There only reason this game even looked remotely interesting was these mods giving it the darker things I enjoy. It also looks like the main game is trying to kill off this kind of content. Which is very annoying to say the least.

Unfortunatly my style of modding etc doesnt go down well with Patreon, or Patreon funded games. So that means I am quite alone trying to mod this game, without support I cannot even know what new code etc goes into it. Checking all the content to try and work out how to do anything, is just something I dont currently have time for.
NO promises but I MAY look at it again after the next large update, when new clothing, models etc come in, and that is a very big 'May'.

Don't feel like you need to at all. The main Dev coward who gave in to draconian Patreon even thought there plenry of other options for donations and subscribers that don't have the same rules. I already dropped the game do to this crap.

Have you tried SubscribeStar. Just a suggestion. I've seen developers and modders using it more. I think they're more flexible, more laid back and a lot less picky than Patreon. Sounds like Patreon really limits you what you can or cannot do. I agree with others leave your mods at least. They definitely make the game better and fun. I love your Dungeon/Harem mod and it's the only reason why I want to play Life Play. Honestly it given me idea of my own game, something similar but using Ren'Py with DAZ Studio/Honey Select 2.

Sorry I think you missunderstood slightly. I have no interest in modding for money, I only do it for fun. However the game itself is now funded by Patreon. So it cannot be associated with me, leaving me out in the cold without support from the developer.

For example I spent months putting together I total conversion 'Zombie holocaust' mod for lifeplay, with combat, building development, inventory managment etc. And it was destroyed by one update, without support I just cant be bothered. Then there is the fact that in many cases bugs havent been fixed, they have been gone around. E.g Underwear showing through clothing, the fix would have been easy with a shader, however underwear was just removed.
Anyway as of now, I still havent seen anything that makes me reinterested in Lifeplay, which is the main reason I dont restart.

I have tried multiple times to compile that code, due to the size and the fact it was split into parts and required a specific version of the compiler, I never managed to get it to run. But even if I had there would be little point unless I wanted to fork my own version from it, which would then never be compatible with Lifeplay.
Dont get me wrong I was and to a degree still do admire what Vin did with Lifeplay, but to be honest I just think it is too much for one person to keep up with. I am also guessing I may or rather my mods may have caused some of the shit Vin whent through with Patreon, Which is one reason I never wanted my mods advertised!
To be honest my main problem with Lifeplay is that it's almost brilliant! It just could be so much more, but it just seemed to turn into a porn animation player.
We will just have to see where it ends up.

However the whole sex gameplay, tiredness, arousal (Your partner just orgasmed so now shes to dry to go fast) is completly counterintuitive.
That said I now have a couple of months free and I'm deciding what to do. I probabily will update the dungeon mod a little, by abusing the sex likes/dislikes and coding it into the dungeon mod, fresh slaves will hate everything you do, and slowley as you train them they will learn to like it. This is quite simple addition. I could also make it so that all sex scenes in the dungeon start with both parties having 100% energy (A lot less of the Actor is too tired to continue trash)
Other than that I am open too suggestions from those still following my crap on what to do. I could:

1. Focus back on my porn game, this wont achieve a great deal as that will be quite some time before its ready for gameplay, but it may be enough to get the basics public.

2.Focus back on the whole Landlord, dungeon mod. I have at leat 6 weeks maybe more so I could get a good chunk forward.

3. Reincarnate the Zombie total overhaul. From reading some of the new functions in Lifeplay I may just be able to do this. The main problem was after the main Lifeplay update (AI) it became impossible to pose or control npc's. I havent looked at it in practice yet, but I think it can be done, plus some of the new animations (fighting,shooting) would make combat better.
Current state of Zombie mod: Intro 70% done. combat 90% done. Inventory 95% done. Zombies done, building work 80% done. Mostly this will just require loads of small gameplay scenes. So It maybe possible to just about get this finished.
For those who dont know the zombie overhaul would be a total conversion mod, it wont break normal lifeplay, as it will only convert it when its ticked in the mod settings. It makes Lifeplay into a zombie, survival porn game. You take over and modify a building, store and scavenge reasorces from other places, group together with 3 other npc's to raid and scavenge, rescue or capture other survivors. Actual weapon construction and combat with zombies etc, etc. Within Lifeplay limits of course!

Let me know your thoughts.

It's a really tough decision! With your game, you can build an audience in the future (and maybe an income). But your Landlord mod would be great too...

I just know that the zombie mod would be fantastic!
It's one of my favorite themes and could even imagine how fun would be to have a mod like that on LifePlay. I'm voting for the zombie mod then!

I myself, haven't really played " LifePlay ", much, or at all, once your Mods, became broken . . . It just wasn't as much FUN, as when your Mods were working as intended.
I keep looking back, and checking how Vin's game is progressing. It's just not as much fun, as it used to be, (it wasn't all just your mods not working, but, that whole 'Pateron' crap, ruining it too), and the whole 'Modding Community' , that was very active, to that point, seems to have 'died' too.

Now, on to your requests. My 'order', as to what you listed is as follows;

Your listed #3, is my #1 choice.
Your listed #2, is my #2 also, (though, it's kinda 'tied' with my #1 choice, But, I'd really like to see that 'Zombie Mod )
Your listed #1, is my . . What Porn game ? I didn't know you were working on one, other than the "Zombie Mod/Game" .

It's great that You're back in the game Bro, You're a great programmer with great ideas and this game needs gifted people. You have excellent ideas for new mods and upgrading old ones, that's an extra

I'm so glad that you're coming back. Again I will say love your dungeon mod and it's almost the premise of the game that I have in my head where you kidnap how many girls you want, locked them up in a basement or dungeon and turn them into your sex slaves but you can do whatever you want with them. And I love the sound of fresh slaves will hate everything you do to them. That is basically the game I've been looking for and also love the premise of Slave Market (about selling kidnapped and trained women to the sadistic ultra-wealthy), Female Agent (about an intelligence officer, who goes undercover, have to navigate her way through a sex-fueled urban underbelly to take down a dangerous international terrorist, either succeed or become trapped in a criminal underworld), Bloodshift (about a vampire who gains influence, drink blood and enslaves beautiful young women) even Lust and Power (about a young man gain some dark powers, who faces demon attacks, to meet some strange people, to protect his family (mom and sister) and to use their gratefulness to gain control over them and to make them your sex slaves.) I would love all those ideas to be implement into a game even the Zombie total overhaul sounds interesting.

Anyway I'm not coming back as such, Lifeplay as a game doesnt do much for me anymore and that hasnt changed since I stopped modding. As a mod platform it is a pain in the ass, and increadably difficult to use. Not because it is hard to understand, but because it just so simplistic you have to think outside the box to make it do stuff it isnt supposed to. Now that is what I like.
I will take a look at the Zombie mod, however it has been a long time since I was working on it, as such my old brain dont store info as well as it used to, so it may need a restart which would take too long to do atm.
Also not sure if anyone is interested???? but I do have a sort of story mod in my personal collection I am willing to convert to public now. It's basicly a family corruption mod that feeds into the harem and dungeon, and is designed to be a start up story for lifeplay. It quite linear but also quite long and gives you around 8 extra npc's to play with (mostly family).

Just for your info, I just found out that some "Sims 4" Mod creators, have been working on a very interesting " Zombie Apocalypse " Mod . (even if the Sims series isn't your thing, you should check it out, on ideas, etc . They even had kids in the game 'turning' into Zombies ).

Yeah Sacrificial mods, been playing it for a while. Very basic but fun for a while. Further to this another modder is making a sort of fallout mod Google 'llazyneiph survive' now them too mods combined may just be brilliant! I will be working on merging them once 'survive' is out.
BTW I also work on modding all bethesda games, sims 3/4, Rimworld etc all under different anon's of course lol.

Anyway got the dungeon mod working with sex skills, so they start off hating sex with you and slowley learn to love it, now I am doing 'attraction & raport' so they actual hate you and as they are trained learn to love you, lol.
am only using 'orgasm/vaginal/rough/oral/anal' that way they retain some personality and dont just all become the same generic cum sluts lol.

Ok Slaves in the dungeon mod now hate sex with you, and hate you in general. As you train obediance they learn to accept and even like it. They even learn to love you.
Next job: Sex training.
After they reach 50 obediance, you will be able to start improving there sex skills with specific training. This will not alter obediance, just there sex skill levels it will however increase fear. I will then feed this into the slave selling calculations, so slaves with higher sex skills sell for more. I have also worked out how to start everyone with 100 energy in sex scenes, so less 'npc is too tired' crap.
Later Tonight: going to look at slave outfits. Set each slave to have a specific outfit. It may be preconfigured by myself, but if possible I want to make it so you can design and save your own set of outfits, and then assign a slave to wear that type.

Regarding the family corruption mod. This IS a linear story based on my fetishes, it is only hetro male dominant corruption of 8 females, and it is best from a new game. So it wont be right for everyone, I have a few small bug fixes, and as with all my mods some heavy grammer/spell checking but it should be up in a couple of days.

Sex Skills training is working for slaves and sales cost will reflect how well trained they are.
Outfits are more of a problem than I thought, I had wanted to use the 'save outfit' thats in the game already that way people could design there own slave outfits. However it seems rather than being saved as most things are they seem to be saved in the main code or saved games, so thats out for now.
So slave outfits will be more a cosplay type thing with set options(Nun,schoolgirl,bride,slut,nude) etc. However it will be optional and you will still be able to have the clothes random generated as before.
Got bored tonight and made something different, Modified the business hire more people code. So you interview 5 people at once, either from an employment agency(better workers), Job center or collage (work training scheme). Also had them generate with the potential to be married/single/divorced (dependant on age and RND) and have up to 2 kids pre generated. In otherwords basic premade families. Will finnish the interview process off tomorrow night, need sleep now lol.
