im going to say this because i know your going to reply with "im a one person company" but literally that means art story and game play if your at fault at the end of the day its all you and unless your paying said proofreader its still up to you with how your presenting yourself so no excuses i could also mention the town in the 2nd chapter is so laggy it causes about a min of load time each time scene changes ghost island was literally run through everything when its only story even if your not native english this is your product your object you wanna sell, and you dont wanna be known as a shoddy dev im sure you can only use the im a one man team so long and this game is over a year old and even with the " i only want to add" excuse this is still your only product so might as well try your best if you want to market it
I don't run a company and this is not a buisness.
It's a hobby project and I do get some donations, which help me afford hardware and software licenses.
This is not an excuse, this is facts. The fact is that no one starts off being perfect even if you don't want to accept that.
And I've already told you, that I am trying to improve which I have considering the old artwork comparison.
Why can't you just drop this and accept others?
So I was running on the 1ghz passive cooled low power machine(Zotac Ca320 nano).
And since you claim that there was a minute of loadtime I actually put the game on the worst USB stick I had and ran it on that.
Aproximately 10MB/s read speed and as you may know that a USB memory is also very terrible at reading several files at once.
Just adding to the dispair. Switching from Sigtuna during scene to sea map earned a 15s lag. Ghost Island itself has less than 1 second delay running on the USB stick switching maps. And that was the biggest lagspike running on an old keychain Kingston Datatraveler 8GB(16 years old). Now I didn't run it on the 2004 Acer Ferrari 3400+ machine, because that would have yield a much better result, as in close to full FPS because even if singelcore that core is much faster than a core on the Zotac(Rpgmaker VX ACE does only support one core). Now you talked about a minute of loadtime. Unless you're just making things up because you're upset, you should really consider upgrading your machine. Alternativly replacing the harddrive to something that reads faster than 3MB/s. I can't really do much about the loadspeeds because they are limited by your hardware. The game makes use of overlays afterall.
