Honestly, I would invest more time into this game because I do see the mechanics as somewhat interesting, but they aren't interesting enough on their own and I find the h in this game fairly off putting. Only reason I gave this game a second chance (I tried to play it around 2-3 years back) is because I saw that there was a big booba mod so the MC wouldn't look "iffy". I remember the first time I played I tried bonking the rats to death and almost died because I ran out of stamina, then had to reload a save. That kind of "hardcore" is just too much for me.
Modern gaming company will separate damage type by color, for instance, slash-red, blunt/strike-white, piercing-blue. In this game, you would have to figure that out yourself, think CRPG kind of reading and experimenting that requires 10 hours of planning to play a single character (and there are 30 characters or more with different skills).

^In your case, if you pick up the pitchfork and thrust with it from 2 spaces away, the rat either die from 1 or 2 hits instead of 13 or so hits from the club. That is because this peasant spear, a piercing type weapon, deals HP (red damage) instead of yellow damage (the club). That requires some observation to make the connection between the different type of damage type and enemy type a player need to make plans for.

Going further, you will notice Lona can exchange place/swap tile with the rat, something she can't do with others NPCs, this to denote that you're dealing with a critter or smaller creatures and that means they generally don't have that much HP to begin with (Stamina is a different matter as it varies...) so Red damage is preferred to Yellow damage.

All in all, I just want to say that I enjoy deducing the game mechanic without touching a guide or cutting open the game file, it's in my blood. I won't blame new generation players for not liking "No handholding games" like this. Modern company even began to put yellow paints on survival, openworld game nowadays that screams "go here", "loot here" and I don't quite like it since it break immersion. So let's just say a game is something to enjoy, and if it's frustrating to play then safe to say it's not one's cup of tea and that's all right.

Sado Yasashi By the way, the Nun Outfit isn't compatible with the latest version B.0.9.8.5.x. Can you look into it for both the transparent and non-transparent version?
Also Ricordi, are you planning to make a Booba version for the new set of outfit that has just been added?

Come to think of it, I noticed some few images of a XL version of Booba Lona. I love the general look. Do you plan to complete it?

Will changing the color of the doctor's clothes look better?
More options is always nice, but personally, I'd say pristine white looks a bit out of place in this world.
And there's the idea of matching uniform with Elise's own, which would be lost unless that's recolored too.

I respectfully disagree with this opinion. A game should at the very least explain to you all the mechanics in-game. ...
That kind of "hardcore" is just too much for me.
The dev is a bit of a troll. The oldschool kind that will try to trick you into mixing bleach with winegar and breathing the fumes. The initial obtuseness and hostility of the environment is absolutely intentional. Perhaps except for the spastic AI, that might really be limit of dev skill and tangle of existing spaghetti code. At least the AI is consistently inconsistent and once you get used to it you can exploit its eccentricities to your advantage. But anyway, the game very much means to welcome you with kick in the teeth and then rubs it in by giving you mock achievement from dying in the tutorial. There's things that will be constantly stacked against you, you'll always trade at disadvantage, you will often be outnumbered and if you let yourself get encircled you will go down, even cheating the stats won't help unless you know what you're doing. That's not to mention the coarse humor that may deter people before they start worrying about the mechanics.
But there's always a way if you persevere you'll figure it out, you might even notice that beneath that hostility the game is giving you hints. The first visit to Burning Keg mentions both hirelings and Lisa, which can help immensely. If you start with cheapest ( = presumably easiest) quest you get accquainted with Elise, early part of his questline can be done without fighting anything, so that's easy enough too, bringing Lona closer to being able to afford proper weapon and ability to wield it... or you can volunteer Lona to slavery and only worry about escaping before the ordeal kills her, because hey, open world.
Missing caravan was stealth tutorial. Cecily rescue adds traps, the trick is luring slavers into their own traps, you don't need to swing a weapon once. Besides that, run away and kite, wait at cornes, sneak and backstab/juicing grab, incite infighting. Fight smart and fight dirty.
But I'm doing you disservice saying that, going in blind and figuring things out on your own has sense of progression and discovery I haven't experienced in any other game.

Roleplaying as an instigator gotta be the best part of the game that never gets boring even after the hundredths of times of doing it.

It's just so funny to see NPCs go at each other's throat. Eris the goddess of discord would be very proud of Lona for being such a master of deception lol.

By the way, regarding the risk of getting stunned when the NPCs are trying to rape Lona, equipping and holding up a shield makes Lona immune to stun effect that comes from fast light attack, on any direction. It's not entirely foolproof since Lona can still get caught off guard if the NPC happens to hit Lona right as she pulls down the shield, even then it's a great way to effectively mitigate the risk of getting stunned during the sex bait.

EDIT: Oh wait, never mind actually. There's still a low chance of Lona getting stunned even with the shield up if she is hit by the fast light attack through her blindspot.

Try the Circle formation at the end, you will be able to kill all the bandits and reinforcement (overkill and unnecessary but it's fun)
Yeah i actually found that out myself, i tried like 5 formations and found that the circle formation (with gray rat as the tank) was the best formation to use, it was fun trying out the different ways i could do the quest, i think i failed like 50 times before i finally won

Ricordi Sado Yasashi About the Nun Outfit, never mind, it's still technically working if you buy another Nun Outfit in the current version. There's a weird bug where if you withdraw from the bank the Nun Outfit you bought in an older version of the game, the item disappears. It's still there but just invisible. Trying to throw it away on the ground causes a critical bug.

The circle formation is the best general way to deal with it yeah, especially if you're still below level 15 and lacking items. Having a shield is pretty crucial in these types of situation, so gotta at least have a wooden shield at your disposal. This game is such a gold mine of creative freedom. I'm especially glad grinding for level isn't mandatory to complete every content.

Just by being an Unwell Mixed-Race, Lona can use another faster strat without any help on that rescue mission as soon as she hits level 15, select Bloodlust, Trap Skill, Weapon Expert and Mana Knowledge, have Saber+Dagger, Longbow and Water Book:

- Is there any way to get Lona pregnant without getting her raped open? (Like directly using the semen)
- Is it possible to choose multiple skill tree or changing it midway through the game?
- Is there any way to reset NPCs existence without doing rebirth?
- Can mage class use sword too? (Sword class (from skill tree) cannot equip mage wands)

- No. It's either getting raped, doing prostitution or juicing.
- It's possible. And no, the only way to respec is through rebirthing.
- If you're talking about unique NPCs, then no. Once those NPCs are dead, they are dead for good. Gotta rebirth to have them come back.
- A mage can wield a sword while also being able to juice. The reason why a mage can't is very likely because you selected the 'Timid' personality, allowing you access to 'Mana knowledge' but locking you out of the other main traits such as 'Weapon Expert', 'Juicing' and 'Acolyte'. If you want flexibility, then don't select any of the trait personality at the top. As a side note, 'Acolyte' is kind of an exception since selecting it will lock you out of 'Mana Knowledge' and 'Weapon Expert' and vice versa. The same goes for 'Pessimist' in regards to 'Masochist'. Other traits also have a locking function built into them.

If doing Rebirthing is too much work, just use the Cheat mod.
