That's not necessary, they just need to update the mod (or in this case specifically, the Inventory Editor addon using the fix in the secondary link) as they seem to be using the old version of the mod
The lighting code used heavily relies on Windows API's (much like the PaletteChanger does)
This likely won't be fixed unless the joiplay devs do so on their end.
You need to fully install UltraModManager (Install instructions in UMM's info.txt file)
Or if you only wanted the big boobs by default, switch to the RC version (the cosmetic only variant)

Does the nap bug also cause Lona to erratically switch between standing and napping? Not sure if it's the game or my Q key. affects both 0.8.9.2.1 and 0.8.7.4
is it me or when i start a fresh new game (like just download it and start from scratch), the menu that pops up is in russian is there something im missing or did someone moddified it to insert something? because i remember it din't use to be like that

Yikes! 1066 pages, lots and lots of complications, mods, translations, more mods. Trying to absorb it all...but for real, what is my best option to play the most recent / updated version on PC, with the most accurate / robust English translation and the most popular mods ( . ) ( . )? Don't actually mind the complexity, but would LOVE an orientation!
the big booba mod doesn't appear to be working for me, i've got umm1.2.1 enabled and the big boob mod enabled through the start up from the mod manager, but her portrait still has tiny titties
What all do I need to do to make this game work on the latest version? I'm confused as hell. There are dozens of links, "patches" and the like, and also some Mod Managers that I' have no idea how to use.

Start with the base game (0.8.6.2.1 at the time of this post) and load it at least once.
That'll cause it to generate extra files it's going to need.
If you load it down with mods and patches before doing this, it WILL crash.
There's documentations on this thread for the Mod Managers. The mess of links on this thread is baffling, I know. But while in the base game, identify what you consider problems and look for mods to address those. Usually Kenny567's modular cheat mod will help smooth your experience; there's quite a lot it can do but you might have to do some reading on how to install it first.
