Anyone can help me to fix this? Someone in early posts said something about edit files, but I have no idea what to do.
I don't know if it is only a visual bug or will hide a option dialogue at some point.

you did read the error right? Did you try to make sense of what it means? That usually helps a lot.
Looks like it’s saying the file named “commonNpc.txt” is missing from the “MTL” language folder.
- Try putting the original unstranslated file in a separate folder with the game .exe.
-run mtl on the folder. Then move the text file to your MTL language Folder.
-if that doesn’t work, rename it to what the game is showing you should be there.

I’ve been thinking of creating separate pages on the miraheze wiki for each mod.
Also just having pictures and mod name on the modding guide page. So people click on the picture or name of the mod they want, then go to its page for all the info.
I think it would clean up the page.
Alternatively doing it by name and shot description (overview, required version, author)
What do you all think? It would be a lot of work for me and if you all won’t appreciate it I think it may be above my pay grade.

That would make the navigation experience better. I'm sure most people would appreciate it. But don't feel obligated to do it if you don't feel like doing it, it's not like it's a work that earns you money, or does it?

So I thoroughly tested some of the magic items that got improved and changed on the later version (0.9.4.0.4), and overall it's a great improvement. However certain change brought some questionable nerf which I think needs to be reverted, while certain skill got a bit too overtuned that it made magic crazy broken, so it needs to be toned down.

vile scepter is best counter against gob archers and runners
Not really, since those leeches will still get one shoted before most of them even hit them. You can simply use Water Nova to kill those runners more effectively instead of wasting stamina on summoning those leeches. Furthermore, once some of those leeches dies the aggro will be on Lona, making them aggressive towards her. That doesn't happen at all with the tentacle even if it dies, its cousin the Abomination Totem is superior in every single aspect, 2 great skills stored inside an item with low weight (only 6 WT). Vile Scepter is a very bad item overall and is in extreme need of a buff.

you must be doing something wrong when your leech can't get off even an attack even once while I seen my leeches constantly running out of stamina from landing plenty of attacks. water nova only gets good at high wis against fast moving archers, try fighting multiple of them at the same time while having >30 wis total.

its cousin the Abomination Totem
is good against melee enemies, not archers unless you play sneak mage.

Did you miss it when I said "most"? This means most attacks, not all of them. Also, Water Nova (until this version where its utility was nerfed) has always been good at slowing down ennemies and giving Lona enough room for her to fireball or electrocute those ennemies, archers included. That aside, you say that Water Nova only gets stronger at higher WIS, so are we talking about early game specifically here and you're admitting that Vile Scepter is completely useless mid to late game? It's a common knowledge that magic damage in general will only get stronger at higher WIS so I won't debate on the damage point when it comes to early game. Though I'm really curious since you give so much credit to this Vile Scepter, how about uploading some video for me to see how well you actually use this item?

No, it's even good against archers since it keeps them distracted for a long time thanks to its high HP, during this time you can go and sneak a shot on them without them being aware of you. As for the topic of a sneak mage, I have 0 SCU attributed to my Mage Lona and she sneaks around just fine due to her racial buff +5 SCU from being a Moot. If you're still a beginner and are still at the point where you're playing Human Lona then of course you'd have to attribute some trait points into SCU since being able to sneak around is important for the most part.

give me your save since I deleted my game a month ago and I'll go download the game again and reinstall bandicam. in the meantime

vile scepter is more utility than damage dealer but it is both.

like I said sneak mage, tentacles will only distract archers that aren't targeting you in the first place which requires them to spot the tentacle before you. it doesn't matter if it's 0 scu or 100 scu. I don't play sneak mage which require you to setup tons before killing them, kill them all immediately is how I play for one very good reason, saving slaves and helpless girl encounters where time is essence especially when I play at 100 difficulty day 1 where rogues will immediately kill them.

With the further merging of UMM into the game in B.0.9.4.0.4, there should no longer be a need to disable the UMM check in Cheat Menu Framework's __init__.rb file.

It should work as released.

As for the rest of the changes in the game, as always, please create an issue on the mod's issue tracker if any part of Cheat Menu isn't working anymore.

Brother, that video you just linked has nothing to do with Vile Scepter, it's about how Mage Lona take advantage of her weak stat (likely more than 50+ weak stat) to make ennemies fight among them...
Also you don't need a save to record the test, just grab the cheat mod and use it to get all necessary items and levels and then do the video, this time with Vile Scepter.

I think we need to make the context clear here. Are we talking about early game specifically where Lona is at low level? If we are then I can agree that Vile Scepter has some use on low level, but it completely falls apart once you reach mid to late game, do you admit this last statement to be true?

just grab the cheat mod
I do not know how to use cheat mods, never have used them and not willing to burn time to learn how to install it when you could just post your save file here so I could start immediately.

but it completely falls apart once you reach mid to late game, do you admit this last statement to be true?
no, because vile scepter is my main equip in end game 99% of the time, switching to water staff only for very rare specific purpose which is getting pin in a corner while standing on a water tile.

Alright, tell me which version of the game do you have and I'll give you a save that match that version (with all trait points unassigned and the necessary items). I'll give you a video demonstration of mine after I see yours.
EDIT: Also since you said endgame it's fair to assume that we're talking about a Mage Lona that has around max 100 WIS so we'll refer our debate from there.

Your utilization of the spoiler tag for saving room on a lengthy post is impressive.
the common understanding most people have of scenario based attributes for a game mob such as a leech less so.
let me explain briefly. Sexual game. Sexual setting. Large leeches typical in dungeons and caves or near waterways. some tiny thousands sucking life out of adventurers, or large ones dropping from ceilings to laughably engorge someone’s upper torso. Result choice for words: Annoying and surprising and deadly in large numbers.
TLDR Leeches are for diversion and surprising and disease damage over time. Tentacles are seen as attack focused entities. Glow with the flow, just dont seizure, ya’know!
Edit: oh, and saves are earned, not just awarded. Ask nicer, we’re real ppl.
