Why do you play? What is your motive and goal? I have never cheated in LonaRPG and it really isn't for me since it tends to ruin the experience of playing in the first place. If you read carefully the notes you'll see your first mission. Which is to kill rats to get 8 tails. That is the current mission. My tip is to run through down to the south west corner and equip the pitch fork. It deals a lot of damage two tiles over. It's a distance weapon unlike sword or daggers. Read the notes there aswell, it will help you understand the story and let you immerse in the legend behind the game. You all seem to be playing a different game than I am.
I went and used saveeditor to max out my stats.
So far Ive managed to wander into like a dozen different towns, none of them seem to offer anything other than miserable people walking around who will barter with you and sell rats. Now I don't get killed as often, but there does not seem to be anything worth doing.
What "quests"?
Oh and to the person who said "dying to rats is pathetic", that has nothing to do with me, if you literally use of 10% of your stamina fighting a rat it takes several strikes to kill, and maybe 1 in 4 of them turn into meat, it's simple mathematics that eventually you're just going to run out of food. So no, unless you use SaveEditor which it sounds like everyone has done, the game mechanics are completely jank and unplayable without using cheat methods.
Then go to the far south east corner, and take it from there. Head back to town and report your findings. Lo and behold he will tell you that something has happened. Look at the post it wall.. There are your missions.. What drives Lona to do said missions? Well, go to the docks. Talk to people. Talk to captain. Then it may dawn on you what the fuck is going on and what your goal is. Then perhaps all you want to do is getting laid for money and become a cum dump or you want to explore and do more and more missions. Hell, even live a little and make a difference in the horrible place that is Noer and suroundings. And yes. Dying of the rats is probably smthng everyone does the very first try of the game. Myself I thought space or enter was attack and I kept throwing rocks at my self before I understood the key bindings. Then I changed them in the skills section and the rest was fucking great as LonaRPG is a great game. Good luck, ratdude.
