It is true that the change was a bit of a turnaround, but Tawny gave the reasons because it was not intentional, but I still think that the good thing about this game is the theme and how well crafted the plot is and how it develops as you play it, I advise those who have never played the blue side to do so, that's why so many people love it, even though it has changed to HS2, I know that many of us support that.

I don't know how "well crafted" the plot is, but it seems to be flowing even though I'm making it up as I go along to get to endings that already have been decided. I would find it boring to make this game if I already knew exactly how it was going to get there. It's fun to let the story take on a life of its own.

That hasn't been a good look for a while but it's been a terrible look since Ishida started posting nazi shit last year, and since the dev resumed work i'd suggest they scrub any explicit connections to sinfest from the game (if they haven't already)

Honestly as a sober alcoholic it was kinda painful to read how he was saying that this wouldn't negatively impact his sex addiction recovery. I'd seen that exact same reasoning from myself every single time I'd ever relapsed or slipped. At the same time telling him that wouldn't change anything. Sometimes an addict needs to fail to see how they were wrong no matter how much it sucks to watch it happening to someone else.
Dev was addicted to porn and could not get help if still doing porn so dev quit and deleted the account everywhere.
They are in a sex addicts anonymous program for some time now. Also their spouse is sticking with them to get their life back on track. I am in very loose anonymous email contact with them still. This addiction demon on their shoulder really did a number on them though...
