So the patch is only for the compressed version, which is now not even in the OP?

They "updated" the page to indicate Beta 2-
You compressed beta 2 and put a patch for compressed beta 2
I had come here to figure out why the page updated to Beta 2 when all the links said the game was beta 1
Your compressed Beta 2 game and beta 2 patch is now the only beta 2 links in this thread as of this post and they only exist on post #14,604 and not the OP

I still am unclear as to why this occurred

Just take the links that were for PC for the patch, then just add "Update 2 Patch Only" or something similar, then they can just apply the patch to the old version as it will work for win/linux/mac. As the pervious release was already updated and patched to update 1.

The thread was updated with the patch. Not with the main game in it. Our update que is currently very high. We few uploaders are online to resolve those reports. So, we are in a lotta pressure. In a situation like this mistakes can be happened.

Cause iit's the players? Because it is more than an alpha and less than the next release candidate. Also you do know that almost all games here that aren't complete are like betas?

So is this an actual update to that version, as it's now disappeared from the f95 latest update page?

Possible to read that all and more in the same thread that have this post, but for everyone that like to be silver spooned or just lazy:

1. It is an update, regardless of its name
2. Uploader are busy and sometime mistake happen
   1. Uploader applications still open
   2. Uploader remove the previous version from the OP and added only the beta update 2 patch (which you would need a v10 part 4 beta update 1 to have it works)
   3. We informed the zone about it
   4. Uploader reverted the OP back to v10 part 4 update 1 and remove it from the latest update page
   5. Uploader fixed it, add the v10 part 4 update 2 to OP and add it to the latest update page

TLDR: the chp 10 part 4 update 2 patch download replaced the entire game game download they just rolled back to the Full game (entire game files) chp 10 part 4 update 1. and added the patch as a separate download.

First: Fixed that for you.
Second: It's not like this one is the only dev that started to release betas. Whoremonger, Red String and WVM come to mind in an instant.
Third: True, untill finished every novel here is just a 'beta' but where do we get if this continues? Early Access to betas for unfinished visual novels? Star Citizen level $1000+ packs for characters?

Which one? The full links to v10 P4 U1 or the update patch for v10 P4 U1 to v10 P4 U2?

The 2.2 GB from the update patch seems to be correct.
