I don't have any control over the thread Mot. The owner is on OP. I'm curious to know what triggered them. I don't remember seeing anything offensive posted by anyone. I'm probably not the best judge of what's offensive. It's empowering to truly not give a fuck what anyone thinks about me.

Yeah, thanks - both of you - for the reply. I actually knew OBD doesn't "own" or "control" the thread. I also have watched as some devs have obviously exerted influence... That is also NOT to say OBD would or could... Mostly my comment was a backhanded slap at the misapplication of the rules and the sneaky little trolls who abuse them... 'nuff said...
Besides I'm too fired up about the update to give a rats ass.

I totally agree, dear friend. All of us regulars get tired of those who just don't get it. But, don't be too hard on Mot... I fell victim to the overzealous reporting of posts as well. We know that OBD has no control over that. Pretty sure that was just Mot venting a bit of frustration over our encounter with cancel culture. Peace out

I'm glad you enjoy the story thus far. There is a considerable gap between updates. Part of that gap is because I'm a one-man studio. I do all the renders, animations, writing and Ren'Py coding myself. This story is a passion of mine. I don't see myself farming things out to others to do even if I could afford to pay them. It is slowly building a following but is a long way from bringing in enough to pay for outside help. Even then, I'm a picky SOB. I'm trying to improve quality every update. Other's might not have my level of OCD to fuss over the minute details like I do.
The other factor driving the big gaps between updates is I opt to have large updates rather than micro updates. Some devs put out an update with 150 images and 3 animations. 1.0.0 has 1,284 images, 80 animations, 13,000 lines of text and coding. It takes time.
Does it take longer than I'd like, absolutely. Like I stated, this is a passion. It will never be abandoned as long as I'm on this side of the grass.
