Struggling to get on that route (even using WT and picking what looks like right options each time)

Probably not implemented yet, iirc next ver is where the sharing happens. I could be wrong

Just curious, what is the best route to take for Vanessa? Blackmail her or not? Just wondering which route has the most/best content with her

I'd say don't blackmail her. You get a blowjob that she doesn't finish if you do, but you miss out on a potential threesome with her and Ann if you don't. Most of Van's content happens regardless apart from that, if my memory serves me right.

But apart from that, just do multiple playthroughs.

EDIT: oh, but in the new official version (which I haven't gotten to yet in the Ren'Py port), there is some more content with her if you blackmail and are rude to the customer in the cafe. So really, you want to do the multiple playthroughs.

Why is that? It seems pretty crisp, clean, and easy to read.

If you really want to, though, use the unren hack to extract the rpa files, drop the font of your choosing into the gui/fonts folder (or even in the game folder), then open gui.rpy and edit the settings you want to change:
