Sorry for my ignorance, but what is the purpose of the Ren'Py port? I can think of lots of reasons (e.g., compatibility, size, platform support, bug fixes, DRM removal, etc.) but what made me most curious is that there are tags missing from the tags list of the original game, which made me wonder if some content is missing.

The point of it has been explained multiple times in the thread and you can also go to the first post and read the developer notes spoiler.
As far as content, it has all the same content as the official game. If you see a missing tag, report the first post and let the site staff know which ones are missing.

I opened the game, went to the scene gallery.
Chose Alex. I could hear the crickets even with my PC's sound turned off.
Chose Emily. Mostly empty. A couple of decent scenes and one NTRish crap.
Chose Vanessa. Lots of meaty stuff. Took me a while to get through everything.
Chose Ann. I started scrolling down. I kept on scrolling down for a while. My mouse run out of batteries, so I put in a new pair and continued scrolling down for what felt like an eternity. At long last, I reached the bottom.

You need to play with NTR on and Control off (the second NTR option, make sure you respond that you don't need to be in control). Then, let Ann date Chris (he gets her number and they start seeing each other). While on the Ferris wheel with her, tell her to stop seeing him.
