A lot of these games just go for the typical black guy stereotype, but TTrick has shown if you have a well written character that is handsome like Chris then that's better than a by the numbers BBC character imo.
But wouldn't it be better with human cream (maybe hobo) on Ann's face would it be like eating buttered toast

A+ for both of you.
I think that that part of the story created a very cheap conflict so early on. Joey and the MC should never have stopped being friends that way. And if you advice Joey to leave Vanessa, he should be meeting someone new from outside the group, with the possibility of the MC spying on them for those who are into the voyeur/NTR-ish stuff. But don't touch! Something similar to what happened in Become a Rock Star.
RESPECT FOR JOEY! He is the least shitty male human being in the entire game. His character shouldn't have been dragged through the mud like that.

Joey will fuck your sister if he's on rival path, even if you object. He's no angel.
(he will also ask you to let him fool around with Ann even though he thinks she's your girlfriend, just to piss off his own girlfriend, Or at least that's his excuse. Again, hardly an action of a decent human being)

As for the first part, that was exactly our point. That kind of thing is why we argue that the rival path started and is written in a stupid way.
As for the second, even though that happened on every path, Joey would still be competing against Chris, the hobo, the bar customer, some more random sleazy dudes, and above all BEN. He can still be safely be given the award of "Most decent male character in Long Story Short."
Maybe Emily's ex-bf is also a decent guy who just made a mistake and pissed her off. Since I don't know him that well, Joey #1.
