• How to fix it yourself when game gets an update:

Open freshly updated main.[someHash].chunk.js file in the same directory as described above in any Code/Text editor and REPLACE ALL OCCURANCES of seen:false to seen:true.

• Why should it be fixed in future releases?

Because [someHash] is a brand new one every time game is built/compiled again.

Yep, the first one is one the bus ride to the bar with Vanessa. The second one is at the bar with Vanessa and Kim (I believe this is if you're sharing girls with Chris). The last one is on Ann's non-corruption route where she was cheating with Chris if you let him get her number early in the game, let them date, but then told her to stop seeing him while on the Ferris wheel (also, need to choose that you don't need to be in control all the time, the second option after the NTR question at the beginning of the game).

Nah, he's an experienced programmer and since the engine is in a good state, coding new scenes is a piece of cake.

Also, he can code while waiting on renders to complete. Just to explain a little, after he does all the posing, lighting, etc., Daz has a render button. Once clicked, it starts doing several iterations to produce the final image. While that's going on, he can do other things. Then there's the postwork - touching up images.

I think it's the rendering time that matters the most. I used to support a developer who could only render three images a day because he was using a laptop. When he got a new machine, he started rendering more than 15 per day, but his renderings were much simpler.

The issue with daz games is rendering represents such a disproportionate creative effect and physical time spent; it's nearly impossible to divvy it up in a way amicable to two or more artists. I know if it was me; if I was taking on 50% of the art render workload of a project, I'd expect at least 30-40% cut of gross. (for those who think that's unreasonable, you havent done enough rendering - I'd gladly take 20% to just be a writer).

But the economics don't work out, given that few games break ~4000ish plus a month; they hover in this middle ground where they're profitable with a single artist, but not profitable enough to risk handing over the bulk of the IP to a second party. Consider that - you not only need to fork over a large amount of your gross, but short of incorporating and having fancy NDAs you're taking on a huge risk of bringing others onboard.

Having said all that, I DO think there are improvements many Daz devs don't leverage to speed up production time for cash. Things like renting Iray server farms; so while I understand the reticence to expanding one's operation, I'm still critical of devs who use the same workflow when they have 4k coming in a month vs $300.

there are several routes in the game, won't unlock them all in one playthrough... but there was an unlocker posted a while back if you just want to check out the scenes

The Steam version is the same as V0.9a, but it includes the missing animations, new Jenny scenes, and the two paths (Joe rival and Ann hate) that were paused at the start of V0.7.
