As much as I normally hate this narrative in this exact case not having an actual specific opt out would be one of the rare cases where NTR content actually cheapens the LI outside of the NTR routes. It basically means that the only thing stopping Emily from NTRing the MC is a magic button from the beginning of the game, like it requires divine intervention for her to not sleep with that sleeze ball.

Emily doesn't know Chris is a sleeze ball, he's supposed to be handsome and alluring (as much as the game can make him, anyway) and Emily is both after a recent break up and didn't have sex for months. Given all these it's absolutely not surprising that she'd normally hook up with a guy as a rebound rather than obsess "oh but my little brother might possibly mind this".

Emily is a romanceable character and we're already seeing the relationship building up between her and her brother/roommate. So for her to just throw that away based on a setting at the beginning of the game isn't the greatest of game designs, IMO.

Control off is NTR that happens without the player's influence. There isn't much that uses that setting yet, but an example is when Ann is at the dorm after you told her to stop seeing Chris. With control off, when he shows up, they'll have sex. With control on, she sends him away.


I highly doubt the dress choice would affect it. If he puts a control off scene there, he's probably not also going to check if she's wearing the sexier outfit.

This was before the control on/off feature was implemented, but also, that's a sharing choice.

Not too mention your not given the choice of warning/telling her about him, you just throw your (sister/roommate) to the wolves. There are a few places where choices make no sense or certain, imo, important things get ignored or should have more to the choice.

It's still possible it could happen, maybe before her first day of work. We'll see.

It's my personal opinion that some things appear to be ignored because they are either not implemented yet, or they are forgotten about due to the game having so many routes and choices (roughly around 360 choices).

But isn't this jumping to conclusions? E.g. whether Emily sleeps with Chris may very well also depend on factors like MC's relationship level with her, i.e. if she got close and fairly intimate with MC then she might not care much for Chris, regardless of the control switch. At this point we don't really know how this is going to play out.

Or she might hook up with him but whether it develops further or stops will depend on the player's choices (earlier and/or later) And if people are going to be turned off by that "because another guy got his dick in her" or whatever then well, that ship has long since sailed.

Of course this is mostly speculation on everyone's part, but considering I have access to TTrick's code (in order for me to port the game to Ren'Py), I'm very familiar with how he does things.

So... he's never used relationship points, for example, as a way to determine if a character will do something with someone else. It's always been used as a way to unlock more scenes for the MC. He's also kind of moved away from using stats (not completely though), in favor of: if you saw this scene in the past, you can get this new scene. Additionally, the control off option potentially makes anyone fair game, throwing all logic out. At least for now. Proof of this, is what I feel is the worst scene in the game... Ann's motel scene. No logic whatsoever for how that plays out. Especially if you've never shared Ann before.

A lot of NTR games get it wrong, too. For example, I don't think a person needs to be treated poorly in order to have a lapse of judgment and cheat on their SO. At the same time, I also don't think that a small argument would make someone throw everything away and become a complete slut. People are complicated, as are relationships. But so many NTR games follow a silly mold of how characters should behave based on silly choices in the game.

If Ann and MC are together then if MC chooses to sleep on the bed with her and shares it with one guy, she'll only fuck the guy (s) if MC explicitly suggests it to her. Otherwise she'll stop herself (or fuck MC if you go for this option)
If MC chooses to sleep on the couch and has Ann share the bed with two strangers then both the game and Ann take it as a signal MC wants to see her involved with them, and she does.

Sure, it would be nice if there was some talk between Ann and MC regarding this (there's even good opportunity for it, with Ann already approaching the MC on the couch to talk before they all go to sleep) because otherwise it can appear very abrupt, but even without it there is some clear logic to it all.

The only thing that felt off in all this was what i mentioned before, that it all goes out of the window on the next day if you choose to give the guys a lift. But that seemed more like oversight/bug that didn't take into account Ann's earlier behavior even though it is one of the switch branches.

What I can't bear with in these NTR games is that it's sometimes just a matter of 1 click - whether LI goes full slut route or remain faithful.

I played one recently, it doesn't matter how you treated LI or what happened before in general - 1 click (decision to fuck her or not) and LI makes a full 180 from faithful GF to a cheating nymho, not only she cheats - she enjoys it... only because you didn't fuck her 1 time lol

At the same time, like you note, the whole inviting guys in (and making Ann go invite them while in her underwear) is pretty outrageous, and realistically only something that'd be done by the player who does want to see Ann get fucked by those strangers. It is a porn game and we all could guess what the outcome of that would be. So, if the player chooses to invite them and then also chooses to have Ann share the bed with them (while opting to stay out himself) and then complains "but then she fucked those guys and i never saw that coming" it rings completely fake, tbh.

It honestly wouldn't surprise me if the dev largely presumed that this setup would only be picked by people who were into sharing Ann from the get-go, and so the need for any transition/warmup talk slipped their mind. There's always a possibility it'll be addressed and added in some later update, though.

Always possible, indeed. He's done it before where he's changed/added dialogues to older scenes. There does seem to be enough people mentioning how the motel scene went that he might even change some things, though honestly, I just want this scene to go away lol. Too much time already spent on it.

I mean... I can understand not having much money, so easier to share a room...

But the obsessive monologue while she's slutting out with two strangers is weird. I'd either leave the room and sleep in the car or just try to sleep through it. Either way, as someone who actually hates Ann and want nothing to do with her on the Ann Hate path... it was disappointing to have to sit through that shit. And let's make no mistake about it... it was absolute shit.

I think the "ann hate" is a bit of inaccurate internal naming the game uses, bleeding out and influencing players' perceptions -- Ann doesn't actually hate MC in this path. They are just acquaintances and MC made it clear that he isn't interested in being anything but that or "friends". So it's hardly odd that two acquaintances rent a single room while travelling to the same destination, especially when that room has two beds so they can stay away from each other.

Even the dev said it was named poorly. The are basically friends (it's even briefly discussed in this last update).

What makes it worse on this path, is that he still tries shoving her down our throats with choices to compliment her (and earn relationship points). And I'm sure in the next update, we'll have to watch her whore around with the director or another "actor".

To be fair, i think that as long as those are choices, it's a good thing -- one of my favorite aspects of these games is having more than one rigid point of entry/ending for any given romance (something e.g. ORS does to crazy degree) So having option for MC to not be initially into Ann but change his mind down the road for whatever reason would be pretty cool, and allow for additional variants of the narrative.
