You and people like you may be happy with the current state of the game, but it is a sad situation that the game that I support on platforms such as "My Favorite" and "Steam/Patreon" has started to bore me and many people. You may want to see Ann sex scenes all the time. But innovation is a must now, otherwise I would not be surprised if this game loses serious subscriptions in the near future.

Let the developer worry about that. I'd say this sort of handwringing is pretty detached from reality, when you see games which go for literal years with zero updates but still maintain their subscriber base.

Honestly I'm getting a kick out of the Ann hate too. I kinda get why people hate her but I don't really share that sentiment. I like her. Corrupted Ann is kinda silly. The way she goes along with everything... But that isn't my main route so who cares. I still like her looks and personality.

Vanessa, whom I hated from the very start, is starting to grow on me a little bit. She is a bitch and a whore but when you accept that, her dynamic with the MC becomes quite entertaining. Emily is still #1. Alex and Jenny...I don't really care about them. I'll toss them at Chris or Joe or whoever.

Now my issue is with the side girls that come and go. Can TTrick make 'em ugly or something!?!? Merry is meh but Amber, Angela and Kim are all top notch for me. It really sucks we don't get more of them. I would gladly trade Alex and Jenny for 2 of those 3.

Vanessa's mom was absolutely the number one priority for the players. No question about that
I'm really fed up with one update after the other with mostly the same revolting, obnoxious girl that has already had 134 scenes. Enough has been said over the years.

Finally some serious Emily content and it's mediocre, and also shared with the cuck path, so it has to be even shorter for both routes, because with fewer than 400 renders after I can't remember how many months there's not much you can offer. (And of course, the bulk of it has to be for Ann and Vanessa).
The wait is getting exasperating and a bit offensive for the fans of anyone who's not Ann or Vanessa.

I have been the Patreon for the game for the last 1-2 years and I also bought it from Steam and supported it financially. But now I am tired of the game constantly having Ann's sex scenes. Instead of making the game "Long Story Short", I wish it had been called "Ann Story Short". The main girls of the game may be Ann and Vanessa, but in the last few updates, Ann scenes have become annoying to me. There should be more Emily, Alex, Vanessa scenes in the game. I think Ann fans have had enough of the scenes.

I don't think Ann gets fucked enough. I'm still waiting for the basketball court guys and Mr Hobo to go thru her. I loved Vanessa's mum getting serviced. She's one hell of a Milf who should feature more.

Funny enough I didn't hate Ann my first playthrough. I played a love path with no NTR and didn't cheat on her or anything. Well once I tried a NTR and manslut save I now hate her only thing worst is Vanessa

What pushed many people like me to hate her presence in the game is the fact that she has practically hijacked the game and any progression with other more attractive (in our opinion) characters after years and years of development. This became specially unbearable after the two devs split up and the game was ported to this personalized engine, and with time it led to all sorts of jokes about her head, her stupidity, etc. out of sheer boredom and despair.
I remember when Emily wasn't even in the game yet, that first time when she came home. Before that, I genuinely didn't harbour any special hatred against Ann.
This has got ridiculous as the years passed. "Ann's story short", all jokes aside, would be a much better suited title.

If Ann dies in it, I want to see the Hobo sneak into the mausoleum to have sex with her dead body.
Then Chris takes over from the Hobo. About an hour later, Joey climbs inside her. Then the MC goes down
on her one last time. The intensity of passion brings Ann back to life.
But this time her head is even bigger in comparison to her body.
She's now a Zombie, who eats ever other possible LI in the game.

There are two games that I have been "financially" supporting and a fan of for the last 1-2 years: Hillside and LSS. Frankly, it saddens me that LSS has fallen into this situation. First of all, the game's producer TTrick and those who defend him like crazy have to accept the "criticism".

I've seen 3 polls about this game so far and Ann was in 1st place in 2 of them and in second on the 3rd. She seems to be the favorite of the majority as far as I can tell. I'm not on any Discord for LSS so I may not be entirely correct but from all I've seen this seems to be the case.

If you were TTrick and you could see that most people gravitate towards Ann and Vanessa, would you give them more or less of them?

There are many Emily fans on Patreon. In fact, from what I see in the comments, only Emily's name is mentioned. In Discord, especially Alex/Emily fans change. Emily/Alex are always at the top of the list in TTrick's poll-based rendering selections.

Well, firstly if polls are an indication of how much content a character should have, if we take the poll in this thread for example being in first place with 24% doesn't mean that the majority of players like her best. Quite the opposite: 76% of people like some other character first. My favourite character is Emily, but if I can't have Emily scenes I would much rather have scenes with literally any other character than with Ann. All the other characters combined don't come close to 76% of the scenes currently in the game. Not even close.
Currently, there are 57 scenes in the game's gallery, out of which 26 are with Ann if I'm not wrong. Way over 24%.
19 scenes with Vannessa.
12 for all the others including 5 one-off scenes with secondary characters, which leaves 7 scenes between (for me) the best three girls: Alex, Emily and Jenny.
(I've checked it and Alex photoshoot scene isn't even in the gallery, so let's make it 8 scenes between the three of them out of a total 58.)
Proportionate? I don't think so.

Secondly, I'd love to see another poll asking "Who's your least favourite girl?" That would be interesting.

Finally, and this is something that has been discussed a lot here, people who like Ann primarily do so because she plays a certain role in the story they have a fetish with. She's the nerdy girl they can corrupt, share and turn into a filthy whore.
If Alex played that role, she'd be their favourite. If Amber was a main LI and she played tha role, she'd be their favourite, etc.
And very importantly too: you get more fans the more screen time you get. It's not fair to compare her popularity to anyone else's.

Kitten, i have maybe a dozen or two posts in this thread. Out of 7k. You'd need to be inane to think i'm actually the developer for this one, given i spend most of my time on this site anywhere but here. But whatever helps you alleviate the anal pain of being publicly called out on your ignorance, i guess. Keep the dream alive.
