Hey guys!
I assume most of you know this by now, but the game will officially launch on Steam on the 24th of October!
I also wanted to write a public post so that everyone would be aware of that.
I still have some minor things to finish, but I believe I can wrap them up in the next week.
I'm very excited about the launch and, honestly, I'm dying to write some new scenes for the game. Hopefully, things will move much faster in terms of content after the launch.

IIRC, 0.8a1 was released Jun 2022 and 0.8.2a was released Feb 2023.

Wow 0.8a1 was released a couple of months before I even played the game for the first time. I kind of wish I didn't find this gem until it was complete but I think that about all the games I love.

Yeah it's been a really slow year. I do hope TTrick delivers more than just a Steam update and hopefully the Steam release will give him enough financially to start churning out updates like crazy. Though it is tricky, the Steam money is just a one time thing whereas us on SubscribeStar (yes and Patreon) is a steady trickle. But maybe the supporter base will grow too, that would be the best.

It's definitely tricky. I think there is potential to continue earnings if the game gets popular enough and more people purchase it over time. But, we almost must not forget Steam's cut and also, government taxes

ttricks definitely good at this, and i really hope he gets enough support to go full time after the release. if thats not the case, i hope he considers bringing in help. this games far too good to have people losing interest due to extreme dev cycles. i really want him to succeed. anyways, thanks for the info, lab.

The chances of him letting someone else do renders is probably absolute 0 and that's what takes the most time. If the game were to take off and he could quit his normal job, then we'd likely see faster releases. Few devs get that kind of support, though, sadly.

Same here. Currently supporting 9 devs (used to be about 15) totaling around $102/mo. Much rather the small devs get my money.

Yeah same, sadly the mainstream public only likes college themed games that are vanilla, you go to the largest forum on reddit about avns and they always talk about the same 3 popular games. And they see something that is moderately non-vanilla and they get scared. Really annoying imo.
