If you read the patreon about it also says that his ultimate goal is to do this full time. So that means he is motivated by the monatary gain as well, please stop defending him with the "hobby", "side project" stuffIt literally is a hobby/side-project and has said that from day 1. He has also said many times not to "donate" if you don't have the spare income to do so, while also pausing payments, like it was for like 3 plus months at one point. Yip, scammer move right there
90% of adult game dev's it is a side-project since almost every single one has a real job. There are very few that have adult game dev as their full-time job. Making $2k a month will not support anyone in this economy.
Scammers are not honest about anything they do.
Steam also says the same hence why it says "early access".
he has build a whole community around "don't ask when the next update is". People who ask that on his discord get threatened with ban or mute by the kiss ass mods. They've done it for so long it's become so normal for people on that discord to kiss the dev's ass and have this big brother complex towards the dev and mods. You're probably one of his mods coming over here defending him cos for some reason you probably have some par-asocial attachment to the dev cos he talks to you in your dms like a friend, i mean it's not just the mods its probably most people on that discord that have that parasocial relationship with that dev. If the dev is not a scammer then he shouldn't be banning people who criticize the lack of content in updates that take over 6 months for a game that's been in development since 2017.

I've been in that Discord for a year or so and never seen anyone getting banned for asking about an update, let alone criticizing it, if that was the case, I would have been banned long ago. Since I've asked many times when are the side girls getting some content and it's not Ann over and over and over and he got pissed by saying "Emily and co" are not side characters and have lots of content. I've also said and done a lot worse, and yet, still got a free Steam key out of it, no, I left no review or any of that bullshit.
Well what you asked will not get you banned because that's related to the actual characters in the game not a question regarding when the next update is.
You don't get banned right away, the mod with parasocial issues will first make some weird emoji and then tell you "read the rules" and point you to the rules channel. If you ask a second time you will get told you will be muted. Then a mute will follow if you ask a third. If you criticize the dev like I have then you will get banned. I was a patreon supporter last year for a few months so you can't tell me I have no say because I did spend money on the product at one time.
You can literally search that discord for "when is next update" or "update" to see how many people ask that question and the mod will point them at the rules like it's such a taboo thing to ask when people are giving the dev money. If you go on their discord annoucements you can also see the dev do a post a few months ago saying he will make smaller updates frequently, well that was a lie too.

Um.. did you not read? I was a patreon supporter for a few months last year and only unsub cos of the lack of updates. So i have spent more than a single dime and have the right to complain according to your logic. So this is me complaining. I will go ahead and play all the future updates for free now, and will complain as I see fit for the lack of content and updates. You can head back to your little discord community and continue feeling like your part of something and get taken advantage of by this lazy dev, oh and get off that high horse while you are at it.

And it’s not like I hang out in his Discord or anything, I just look at the pretty renders from time to time, that’s all.
And just so you know, I bought it on Steam — so no, I’m not some big supporter, and I’ll be playing any future updates for free, just like everyone else.
If you got it on Steam too, then maybe just sit back and enjoy it like I do.
