Seeing 6 Chapters = 2-3 hours' worth of content. When other games can have one Chapter last 1+ hours. I already knew it was going to be short and probably not have much content (li wise) I don't think they will have proper endings (the side girls) they are probably there just for a sex scene or two (idk since my MC is avoiding the side girls)

Another 6 or so Chapters and that's another 2-3+ hours' worth of play time. Since we are at Chapter 9, and you said it yourself, the updates before the 9th were short too. Usually, when a game gets updated in 2-3 months, the updates are never usually long.

“A chapter for the game usually takes 2 to 3 months to make which I release as updates regularly, I hope to continue delivering content at that cadence."

It also depends on the path you are on. If you stick to one path, that path probably doesn't get much content than the other path and etc. You can't expect a bunch of hours of gametime when the Dev is releasing updates quickly (2-3 months) and you have to take in the "animations" stuff too, which take a lot of time to make.

I do wonder what the "extra content" will include (I haven't checked it) is it more stuff to playthrough or just images?

You know how they say "brevity is the art of wit". Also your "I'm not counting renders" is just deflection, on a par with "I don't see color". There is no damn way we'll get a satisfactory exploration of anything in 5 chapters left, if they are the same size as the ones that came before. The barista and her potential interactions with Kayley, the MC, and Cassidy, the Leilani relationship and her corporate embezzlement or whatever plot, and again her possible interaction with Kayley, the club with the potential for corruption from the rich patrons, (maybe some rich guy wants to have sex with Kayley, maybe something forces the MC to accept that, "Indecent proposal"-style, like maybe Justine kicks him and Kayley out and they need money to survive, which would be a good fit for the hinted "dark path"). Or maybe one of the rich patrons of the club is someone from MC's company and he wants to have sex with Kayley or else he reveals the MC's corporate infractions to the police. So many possibilities and I'm sure a good writer could think of a lot more, but there is no way 5 minuscule chapters could explore anything like that properly.

How is whether I bought the game or not relevant to anything? Would the game get longer if I did? (I mean you could argue that the author would get incentivized to make more chapters if it did better, but that is most certainly not what you were thinking when you asked that queston). Also I'm not your "bro", so keep "the sit your ass down" familiarity for them, assuming you have any.

I'd say a few minutes per chapter, obviously. Once again the issue is not the length of the chapters, Ravenous also has short chapters, but it's already in a 2nd act, with a third one announced. If we consider that out of those 300 renders per chapter, on average, some would have to be set aside for the "indoor sports", that leaves even less for anything resembling a story, in the potential 5 chapters left.

Look, if you're the dev, just come out and say it. I'm not the type to go "fuck the devs, I'm proud I'm pirating their work", like others do, but let's be honest, this is a pirate forum, and I'd be willing to bet you've pirated your share of games and this logic of yours is flawed. I can have an opinion on things I have no direct involvement in. If the game really does end after 14 chapters, I'll live with it, but I'll be disappointed. There is no way it doesn't go as well as the ending of Game of Thrones went :p, if it ends after 14 chapters. There is no way to end all the story threads in less than 1500 renders, since some of that would need to be used for the sex scenes.

A person who pirates a game has no right to bitch/complain about said game.

People should consider that past numbers are not a limit. Just because the average so far has been 300 renders, doesn't mean the next episode can't be 600, for instance. It's completely useless to speculate on how many total renders there are left in the game if the game runs for five more chapters - or more specifically to assume a total number of renders and worry about what story can possibly fit into that number.

This is a first for me.

I've had games where the save files didn't work, but this is the first game I've seen that tells me up front. I'm still a little annoyed that I have to start over yet again, but at least I learned something new.

Had the potential to be a decent game.. but the forced scene with the boss, despite me at every opportunity telling her to "piss off!"....
yeah, I'm out!

(and to all those who're gonna go "you can avoid her in the future" ect ect.. I DID read above about that.. and I don't really care... if I had any say in it, I'd edit the story for her to be fired after you screw her over, by reporting straight to the comptroller instead of her, and then move the story along without her being a part of the game any more)
