Because this game, and their other game is very vanilla, they only lost their Patreon because of incest from their other game.
So instead of making an incest patch to keep patreon happy or making the game less vanilla to take full advantage of being a subscribestar creator the developer makes the worst possible business decision.
meh, i liked the way the story was going with the mc trying to connect with his daughter i thought he was gonna keep going to watch her play and get closer to her friends, keep it dramatic or whatever, then the cast away shit happens and it completely lost me

They lost their Patreon account LONG ago from the other game listed in the OP (Patreon gave them no option to change anything, this happened with a lot of dev's), like a lot of other dev's around that time, just because it is on SS does mean it HAS to have certain content, there are lot of plain jane games on SS because they have no other option. Some creators can't get payments from Patreon, they are blocked by the country they live in, and so on.

They wanted to keep making that game (even though they eventually gave up and started this game, but might go back to the other game now), so they just used SS and Itch.io, and eventually Steam which the other game is on Steam, this game will be going to Steam to.
And SS has those same things about incest and kind of things in their TOS that was updated last year, that advantage isn't all that of an advantage when creators are getting shadow banned of late.

If it makes you feel any better, I think taking the grandma's attempts at forcing you to be a father, and using them to become the daughter's "daddy," sounds like a pretty satisfying revenge.

Anybody else getting PTSD-flashbacks of Lewd Island with the scenery change? I swear, if this leads to an overly annoying fire making mini game... <.<

I liked the game until the Stranded Island and being forced to be there and no choice. It went from being a pretty mediocre game with potential, to falling flat on its face. The sudden lack of sex and slow build is trash. The Island thing is overdone, sure it could be done interestingly and in a fresh way, but it was not here. Far too vanilla and too short of an update.

I miss My MC's Co-workers already....I still need my Kate and Andy...there is also Claire...the island kidnap seems poorly executed. I mean Grandma should have just bought MC's Company or something more economic power move than straight up kidnap but that is just my opinion.
bitdefender gives me virus warning when i tried downloading it from workupload... pondered i should warn...
Not quite enough for me, she's banking on croaking before any repercussions for her illegal activity. I'd be much happier if she died knowing her granddaughter despised her, or the grandmother and all of her descendants lose access to her wealth.
