Lots of Japanese Eroge seem to think differently.
The MC being a prick is standard for them.

I have to somewhat agree... At first I could deal with the continuous complaining by the protagonist, figuring it would eventually lead somewhere... But then the cliché family dynamic begins, and the complete lack of immersion and believability in both some of the characters personalities, as well as some of the scenes... The visuals do not always match up with what the text sais or what is implied in the story... And you can tell already this is most likely going to have some form of NTR in it... The believability of some of the scenes is thrown out the window, and so is the immersion in the process... This introduction shows that there is a lot of re-work/re-thinking that needs to happen if this visual novel/game wants to succeed...

Normally I wouldn't post about a game especially as its the first release but felt in this case I should to point out a few issues which I found which need to be resolved.
1. Preamble - Good to set the scene, but the musing of the PC seem far too long and uses the same BG.
2. Mother / elder sister - close, but imho I would say the creator has the 3d models mixed up. The 3D model used for the sister should be the mother and the 3d model of the mother should be the sister. Even then I would say the two models are roughly the same age late twenties to early thirties.
3. Younger sister model Ella - its a great model but seen it used although tweaked slightly several times recently.
4. During the first 30-40 pages of preamble when the images changes to show a different facial expression an annoying grey box appears very briefly in the upper right corner.
5. After chatting with Beatrix for the first time you get a BG of a room with a table lamp and the curtains are closed, if you mouse click through the next 4-5 lines "Earthquake mentioned" the grey strip on the right side of the BG flashes black, if you mouse scroll through its fine.
6. David runs back, "Oh shit" the next background showing the blinds, again some weird distracting black flashing when clicking through.
7. Dad leaves or is dead, mother and two sisters. Smacks of jumping on the band wagon to try and cash in. Hate to say it but this story has been done to death.
However, I wish the creator all the best and I look forward to seeing the next 3-4 releases to see if the creator is following in others footsteps with the exact same plot/story or has something new and different in mind to share with us.

Wow, thank you everyone for your posts/replies! (Gibby here). I don't have anyone to bounce my idea's off so i am truly thankful for you guys. I have looked at all your posts, everything will help me to move forward. Also, thank you to the "mini-reviews". I'm currently working on my next release. (didn't know to call this release "demo", "intro" so went with what Renpy named it. I don't exactly shine with "intro's" since i was so excited to work on the game past that. But either way, thank you everyone so so much to even give my "game" time of day!

I am really looking forward to see what will happen to Beatrix. As I said, one of the best models I've seen so far! Stay tuned!
Does anyone else feel like the post-apocalyptic motif needs to DIAF? Like not just in porn games, but in movies, books etc. Like seriously it's only compelling if it serves as satire or to further an allegory, not as a crutch for poor story-driven content. Not a critique of this game, which I have not played, but I'm just tired of sci-fi plots defaulting to a shitty post-apocalypse premise.
The movies Lucy, Her, and Transcendence are all instructive on how you can pull off decent sci-fi without nuking the fucking planet.

The protagonist sais in the very beginning he's living with his step-family, but from there on he is always referring to them and describing them like they are his blood family...

if you took half the dialogue out it would still be too much.
