Fantastic start but please, I am begging you, STOP THE STUPID FREE ROAMS. Sweeping leaves, wiping tables and fetching rice? FFS... next will we be picking up trash and moving furniture? Free Roams rip you out of the story. They suck balls. Just tell the story. I don't want to do chores and you can hide images anywhere.

Only one game in the top 30 has free roam and that is BaDIK which should be in a category all it's own. NONE of the others have free roam! NONE! That should tell you something. Okay, well Eternum has some free roams too but in both cases they are extremely well done with clear instructions and there are NO CHORES. Everything advances the story. How does sweeping leaves progress the story?

At the end of the day, these are Visual Novels and not games. Don't put elements into a story that have nothing to do with the story.

Having said all of that, it is a really amazing start. The dev has some talent and I wish them well.

I second this, please no free roams or sandboxes. All they do is drag down the pacing with pointless stuff that's not fun. It's the one thing that makes several other AVN's a chore to play through to get multiple paths.

I get what you mean, I never liked the black & white distinction between MG and SG either, but its the easiest way to explain it to people. Fact is, some girls get more attention than others. And I don't think the fact that some of your players might potentially prefer one of the "side girls" more than your "main girls", should stop you from introducing compelling characters to add some variety.
I liked the character concept of Raven, but I didn't want one of my main love interests be a stripper.
I'm really glad you like her so much, and rest easy, you will see more of her. Guaranteed

I agree with you on the "not want one of the main love interests to be a stripper" idea. Would not be appealing to me. In her case, I get the impression she's not there willingly and she's a victim. If she's not going to be a main love interest, I hope at the very least we'll be able to help her out of her situation.

Anyway, I liked what's been released so far. I'm a sucker for a strong MC who's saving damsels in distress type story.

I enjoyed the first chapter very much, great work SakuraKage!

Two things that stand out for me (apart from lovely looking ladies, od course) - I love when the MC is at least a bit older than the average college guy and I absolutely adore when video game characters talk like real people, not like some weird anime robots Those short animations during dialogue were also a nice touch.

The game goes straight to my favourites and I'll definitely come back to it when more content is released.

EDIT: Also, please tell me I'm not the only one that thinks that MC looks a bit like Logan / Wolverine...

That was absolutely amazing for a first release I even had to double check to see if the dev had made other AVN in the past already since the quality and everything felt that of a veteran AVN dev honestly as far as the AVN its an amazing start gripping interesting story, charming MC who is also a badass, different girls with different looks and personalities there is someone for every player, good animations even when the girls are idle and a banger soundtrack I couldn't ask for more.

As far as love interest go I really like the green haired girl the investigator girl Ash? not sure what her name is but she fits everything I like look wise and she seems like a badass too only downside it heavily hints at some sort of trouple or something not really my kind of thing I seriously hope it isn't one of those you either date both or none kind of things other then that Mio is also a cutie and Sylvie is super hot.

Overall solid 10/10 start I can't wait more especially after that insane cliffhanger I was at the edge of my seat the whole time during that last few scenes.

A demo huh? Well 2k renders is more then many completed games have here on this site. This is an all around fantastic start of a vn.
The quality is actually better then 90% of the games here. Anything, from writing to rendering/animations. Heck even the music is good.
This is a must play. There are really good love interests, feel free to take your pick, except Mio, thats my girl now

i think raven is a prime example.
but as far as romantic interests go, i know guys prefer more "innocent" girls.

Well, from my observations, the whole "I want innocent girls only" drama mostly happens in harem game threads, - players there want to catch all the pokemons, and when one or a few girls stand out too much, it stirs the pot. Since yours isn’t a harem game, I wouldn’t worry about that.

I think variety’s what keeps things interesting for this kind of stories.
Innocent LIs are fine, though personally I find them boring most of the time. There’s just no thrill there, I guess.
Just my humble opinion of course.
