So far I am liking this game but I found a bit weird that telling Sylvie you are not interested in her seems to close her path, because in that scene she was basically treating us like a creep so it seems a bit weird that we are already making a choice that is closing a path.
I hope we get a choice sometime later to reopen the path because to me, it was hard to say yes at this point in the story, but I'd like a chance to get to know her later on.
See I'm torn, because while I would like that option, I recognize that it would mean more renders/time/development for the Dev, which means slower updates for us...

Due to the 'pick who you like but you can't have everyone' aspect of the game, I think I'd much rather shut down the relationships a bit earlier, especially for the girls that don't have a big plot relevance to the main story.

Just imo though, not sure what Dev has planned for Sylvie.

I see your point but the way it is right now it almost feels as if the game just wants me to say no to her and close her route, I see no redeeming qualities, and I am not sure if that was the dev intention.

When they put a choice like that so early in the story, they should at least give us a reason or a hint to why should we give her a chance because up until that point she's been very unfair to us and I am sure she will have a tragic past or a reason why she's like that that will reveal in time, but that is hard to see with what little we've seen of her.

See for me, Sylvie almost immediately set off my 'Tsundere' radar, so I figured how it would play out and sure enough, she's a big softie underneath the exterior. I really like her actually.

Made it to the end and I have to say I've enjoyed it, I am excited to see how the story continues, Gemma and Theresa are my favorites so far.

I was a bit worried with some opinions I've read that the girls throw themselves at us but quite frankly you can say no to everyone and so far it doesn't seem to close you any routes apart from Sylvie and in some cases it seems a better choice to wait a bit.

Other than that, I found Dora to be very suspicious, while I don't think she's evil, she seemed involved with the kidnapping of the girls near the beginning and I think the note we get at the club during our date was about her. I also thought that her reaction if you finish the date without kissing her, felt a bit too dramatic for just a one-night stand with a guy she just met that same day, it's almost as if she was on a mission to seduce us and she'd failed but I could be wrong.

To be honest it wouldn't make sense if Dora would target Kelly specifically. AFAWK he got away clean and the only witnesses were the rescued women but if they saw his face it was very brief (Olivia could locate Kelly but it remains to be seen how she's done it, my guess is through Gemma). I doubt that Kelly is such stupid as to not check the area for cameras (I would assume he would wear a mask at least in such case but we got a good look during prologue and there were none visible) and it's not like the rescued women could take a picture of Kelly (being in underwear only, without anything else).

Even if somehow she would know that Kelly was responsible for the attack (assuming she was in cahoots with kidnappers), which is extremely unlikely, why would she let him live? Some convoluted theories would have to be invented for it to make some sense at least, like Dora being the one who gave Kelly a tip where girls were hiding, she wanted her boss to take a hit (and she didn't come to the docks because she didn't want to get killed). But that would be too far-fetched for my taste.

Same goes for the theory that Dora works for the good guys (be it FBI, internal affairs or some other police force), considering that Gemma is still walking free.

Dora being one of the rescued women would make more sense but storywise it's unlikely because we already have Olivia so I don't think that dev would do such a thing.

So currently I'm leaning towards theory that their encounter was just a coincidence and either it's a red-herring or she really was the woman who kidnappers were waiting for and after meeting Kelly she started to suspect he might be the one responsible for the attack. Then again, why would she assume that it was just one assassin instead of a squad? And why would she even assume that, because after her brief conversation with him she would have to be crazy to think that. Unless she saw Kelly when she was going to the docks and hid herself once she saw dead guards outside. But again, why would she just let Kelly live and not tell her boss about him? Or just stay with him and kill him in his sleep?

What if Dora is working for an organization that was observing the transaction? They might have planned to follow the buyer to identify them. With surveillance in place, they could've followed the MC instead. When he's seen packing his bags and waiting for a bus, Dora gets activated as a Hail Mary to keep tabs on him and fish for information.
She wouldn't have been the ideal choice, but she was the best they had in the moment. By that time, they'd know the MC involved law enforcement and that the girls are safe. So Dora's mission could be to recruit the MC instead and see if he'd make a good match for their way of doing things.

There appear to be multiple parties with knowledge of MC's actions/interest in the case.

Dora is too on the nose to not be a red herring, but she does have SOME knowledge of him. I'm guessing she's part of the group but isn't really into it and is trying to actually help the girls. She'll show up later to rescue MC instead of killing him when he thinks she's betrayed him. She'll shoot the other guys or something.

The note at the bar as well. Someone left that there, and unless MC is a complete idiot and didn't see Dora walk up right beside him, it's someone else.

Olivia - Her interest in the MC is not a coincidence, she obviously made him when he rescued the women. Whether or not the personality is a cover for something else is another story, we'll have to wait and see. She technically could be the note writer I suppose, that would mean she's seen Dora when she was in captivity maybe.

I hope she doesn't lose her edge completely I can't be with a nice girl they're annoying
If you are hoping for more dominating/snarky/nasty women, I think you're going to be disappointed. Most people don't stay aggressively snarky if they're in a healthy relationship with someone, and from what I've seen of the dev's writing, he(i assume he?) doesn't want to make everything super dark all the time. Be prepared for generally nice girls as you put it. Which I love. I mean, good god, Mio in that sun dress?

you misunderstand I like badass and mean women with a sweetheart underneath

women that make you work for their affection but once you get it they're loving and affectionate people

I don't like nice and sweet characters from the beginning that sing about rainbows and kittens
