Had a thought while replaying this. Do decisions that aren't 'stop relationship here', like whether to flirt or kiss Dora, etc, carry over to the next updates?
For example, I rejected Dora, and her last paragraph says:
"After our little 'date' we had a difference of opinion on how to proceed with our relationship. She had to leave and I had to stay..."
Wondering if me rejecting her will be remembered, or if when she's back in the picture, it'll just carry on as if I didn't.

Well there's a variable traking what you did, so I am guessing it will be remembered somehow.
to be clear, the choice that will get you off a girls path is always clearly marked.
rejecting her now is not a done deal. you will have to do it again in the future if youre really not interested in her.
im definitely tracking whether you rejected her advances or not. i think the quote applies well to both scenarios.

Perfect, was hoping it wouldn't just railroad regardless. As it was it felt like I was being forced into a sudo-relationship against my choices (to be fair, I get that the plot must go on to some degree), so that is good to know that it won't just be like "Oh hey, we're cool, we like each other now!" reaction.
i get what youre saying. but all along the way you had the chance to romantically reject her. in that case its just two people going out for a drink in a new city.
no worries, its going to be an important choice whether you rejected her or not going forward. that was kinda the whole point of her path so far.
mc was sus of her too eventually, right? so both choices are valid going forward

Hey Dev.
Enjoying the game. However i'm getting a bug during the free roam.
I completed all the 'objectives' during the free roam. However, when i enter the building to get rice (NOT the back room, the building) I get a pop up saying that leaving the area will end the free roam (YES/NO). Whichever option i pick it just leaves the game and goes back to the main menu... No bug report or anything... just back to the main menu
Doesn't seem to be an issue other people are having. I'm not running any mods (beside URM, which afaik shouldn't affect how the game plays). . I'm struggling to think what it might be tbh
E: Before posting this I tried removing URM and.... it's fixed. Maybe this is useful insight for you as the dev (minor changes to code for the future or something) so i'll post it anyway. First time I've experienced URM breaking a game anyway
Guess we know why DPC gets so pissed by people using mods and then spamming the bug forums

Is the MC supposed to be modeled after Jensen Ackles aka Dean Winchester? I'm surprised I haven't seen anyone mention this. Not complaining, just curious if this was intentional?
haha i dont know about the model. its not intentional. but his choice in clothes is definitely very similar to Dean's.
and i originally wanted to match his personality too, but im not confident enough that i can write it well.
i think a lot of Dean's personality is just Jensen and not the writers.
so i went with a more stoic approach in the end.
I just started playing and I can definitely get that vibe from his character. Of course seeing him and some of the poses I just see Jensen and hear his voice when reading some of the dialogue. It's like hearing Morgan Freeman say "Titty Sprinkles".
