The true art in these game is not how much sex there is in them. But how much you can build to make the player want a character, but still not let him/her feel blueballed or bored by the non sexual gameplay.
Yup that and all the girls/women characters and personalities are very well developed and yet totally different from eachother, not just nymfo nr111667.
That is the perfect way to describe good Adult VNs. The problem is that creating a satisfactory gameplay loop is extremely difficult for a Dev.

Very true. How many of them have the ability or can be bothered though. How many of them end up getting to the mental block point. I write a lot of erotic fiction but I always come up to that mental block where I cant progress or worse I get bored with what I am writing and then get inspired to write something else and the original project never gets finished.
Several games have shown promise but often you end up with games that have badly rushed out endings that leaves nobody happy. I find that very few actual Devs have the ability to do everything though. I could probably write a good story with twisting plots but I couldn't Render, Draw or Script to save myself. There is more than one skill set required to make a good game or even a linear visual novel for that matter.
LaS has a lot of potential. Then again I hope he stays within the Genre that is listed. That is another turn off when Dev's suddenly change course and introduce things that the player isn't interested in and does nothing for the player. The other reason a game flops for me is you get updates where the story hasn't developed in any way. Oh and Dev's starting a second project before they have completed the first one is another big turn off for players. I hope it doesn't happen in this case.

Yes, exactly. Only path that makes me feel a bit blueballed is the "harem path", though, since all the kinky scenes are in "individual character paths". But I can't really play the other paths, because I would leave the other characters out and I want to share the love with everybody in this game.
Hell, I would even have the MC fuck Tyrone's chocolate ass just to not feel bad for leaving someone out. XD Damn, I think that he would even let his "new boss" do it. XD
