well just played through most of the main story so far...strange color of the eyes = immortality.
Dev has all of creation to keep gaming.
Nope we expect this month and next month then so on. Or maybe he read the book of gumdrop of how to milk his patrons Hahahait is active and kicking, sure ppl are scared and tired but dev is still working hard on the project. we expecting it this month...
how quaint, yet another one complaining about a dev "milking" his patreon...Nope we expect this month and next month then so on. Or maybe he read the book of gumdrop of how to milk his patrons Hahaha
you are aloud to think, say and support whoever you want like me and everyone else so lets use our right's how we wont ok pumpkin?Nope we expect this month and next month then so on. Or maybe he read the book of gumdrop of how to milk his patrons Hahaha
yeah shit happens to all of us, he is alone and has busy schedule so lets wait a bit more and i believe we will be rewarded for it. im still a believerhow quaint, yet another one complaining about a dev "milking" his patreon...
i'd like to see you develop games faster then this dev...
and maybe just maybe he is busy with some other things like a job, family or jerking off to porn games ;-)
Bro, it's a fucking Renpy game with DAZ models. Do you know why the Japanese videogame market is flooded with VN's like this? Because they're extremely easy to make. The only time consuming part of making a game like this is rendering, but since you can simply leave your computer while it renders it isn't much of an excuse.how quaint, yet another one complaining about a dev "milking" his patreon...

There's tons of reasons why updates might take a while; full-time job, studies, a family to attend to, maybe something tragic happened, maybe health issues. Maybe a dev doesn't have the best of rigs to pump out renders rapidly, it could be that a component fried or whatever, there's dozens of reasons for delays.Bro, it's a fucking Renpy game with DAZ models. In all likelihood the dev messed up and lost passion. He was told when he released the game by many people that since this is his first project that he shouldn't make too many paths because he's gonna burn himself out. He didn't listen and now he has to do extra work for every update and character.
Plenty of people have already explained that he could simply hire another dev to help him with the patreon money, he chooses not to because he just doesn't care as much.
He put out like 10 minutes of content in the last what, 6 months? How are you apologists still around?
Naah it is per month actually. But pledging is still optional, so it is every persons decition to pledgeCorrect me if I'm wrong, but isn't Veq not doing the monthly payments from his patrons on patreon? If I recall he said he was going on a "something like per project update" basis? So he isn't really technically milking his patrons. Or maybe I've confused him saying this for another dev.
exactly no one is forcing anyone to pay anything, sure we all would want to play it at least once per month but most of the time stuff doesnt work as we want them to, it just hurts to see all of those hate comments sometimesNaah it is per month actually. Nah, there's pretty much 0 good excuses. If he genuinely wanted to work on the game he would've put out more than 10 minutes of content in the last half year. Even if he worked on the game 30 minutes every day for the last 6 months he probably would've finished it by now. There's tons of reasons why updates might take a while; full-time job, studies, a family to attend to, maybe something tragic happened, maybe health issues. I would suggest that before you judge and accuse someone of something, how about you get your facts straight.
It's pretty damn tiring to have to read hateful and nagging posts like that.
Just because there have been devs out there that more than likely are milking intentionally, doesn't mean they all are, so stop being prejudice and so negative.
Actually, there's plenty of VERY good reasons. And just so you know, real life always comes first, it always takes priority.Nah, there's pretty much 0 good excuses. Huh? I'm saying that if he spent 30 minutes per day for 6 months working on the game he would've finished it by now. I don't care how much he personally takes per render, it's just an assumption.Actually, there's plenty of VERY good reasons. And just so you know, real life always comes first, it always takes priority.
And how do you know how long it takes Veq per each render, how do you know much per day he has to render?
And maybe, just maybe Veq doesn't want to release some half-assed update just to release an update, he actually wants to release updates of great quality, and the motto is quality over quantity.
Veq does have a Discord channel where he's more active, so if you want news and stuff, go there, at least then you'll know what's what and you don't need to spout crap here, crap that has no value and based on zero facts.
Well maybe he has 30 mins per day and maybe he actually uses them, I mean we don't know it. The question is where on his Patreon does it say, that he releases an update in a certein time? You don't support him there, so he dishes out updates every month. You support him for his creation there and you get the rewards of the tiers you pledge for. It doesn't matter if he puts out an update monthly, weekly or every two years. It isn't stated anywhere. So if he takes too long for a supporter, he just has to cancel his pledge. Easy as that.Huh? Are you telling me he doesn't have 30 mins per day available to him? Does he work in the coal mines of North Korea?
Maybe it takes longer than 30 minutes per each render. And maybe he can't leave the computer on to do its thing while he's out of the house, who knows, lots of reasons. But seriously, since you don't know what the hold up is, and neither do I for that matter, it's best to stop speculating, and especially stop with these messages of yours.Huh? When did I say that you're obligated to stop supporting him? Do whatever you want with your money. I'm just saying that the typical excuses don't make sense to me, that's all.Well maybe he has 30 mins per day and maybe he actually uses them, I mean we don't know it. Of course it would be great to get an update more often. I am totally on you side with that. But I pledged him for the work he did, that he still does and that he will do.
If he worked for 30 minutes for 6 months that would mean over 4k hours. So you're either telling me that this guy is so busy he can't afford 30 minutes a day to work on the game, or that 4k hours are not enough to finish this game. So which is it?Maybe it takes longer than 30 minutes per each render. And maybe he can't leave the computer on to do its thing while he's out of the house, who knows, lots of reasons.
