no, he posted on the 20th, updating the page is still a posting. He's said time and time again that he's more active on his discord.
*sigh*...how can you not understand that the 20th of feb is over two weeks ago, that's all I was saying if you read my post carefully and that over two weeks with no major update on patreon is a bit disappointing.
I'm not attacking veqvil, I really like his game so you don't have to jump to his defence, its just constructive criticism. I'm only trying to say with a publicly funded game you might wanna keep the public a bit more informed on it all.

To be fair in your original post, you literally said he didn't post anything since the 28th of January which was not true. He was correcting you by saying there was a post on the 20th of February.

I said 'Why bother with a post on the 28th of January titled 'last post before release' and then still not release 5 weeks later, tbh veqvil, I think everyone would just be happy with a proper update on whats going on with the update. Two weeks of silence is just causing arguments amongst fans'

I said he hadn't updated us in two weeks, referring to the post from the 20th of February and regardless that's not a proper update like I was saying in the first place so its irrelevant regardless

@DA22 I agree what you were saying about Veq and the game's development speed and such :)
Personally I really love this game, love the art, he animations are of great quality (i.e. the scene with Carol at the end of the current version was very hot), the story has mad potential. So even if it means that we have to wait a bit longer to get quality content like this in all updates, I'm all for it, better that than Veq possibly getting burned out and worst case scenario, drop the project. hat has been far too many dev's fate, far too many promising and highly talented dev's fate and Veq is very talented :)

Hopefully the next update will pop up soon enough, I'm dying for new content :p

Does anyone have 07 walkthrough?
the are no choices to be made that have a current effect past where the walkthrough that is available ends
And I think it was since 0.5 version when the hint system was added to the game, so you always know what you need to do to progress quests anyway, WT at this point is obsolete :p

I mean why is almost everyone defending this guy? 3.500$ is really good money (depending where you are living) . if you cant communicate with your patreons and just let them know at least twice a month what the progress of the game is and so forth, then you just dont care . And dont get me started with “but making a game is so hard... it takes time” . Simple answer -> no. The maya models are not his, the scenery is not his , texture , shaders , clothing etc all not his. The only part he has to do is placing the models somewhere , render them , adding basic python code and then distribute the game with renpy on all platforms and publish it on patreon. wow . once you saw how simple it is to create/render a model through maya/cinema4d and writing the code in python for the game, you will start questioning a lot of developers about their release dates. there are a lot of good developers out there that put in the work and communicate with their patreons and they deserve all the praise and recognition.

Feel free not to follow or support him. Furher I am not defendfing him as such, just making my own choices based upon what was delivered in past and knowing Veq from past. Am I 100% happy and would like to see him more active and communicative on Patreon and here. Sure, but just trying to make a dev feel hunted down and pressured will only have negative consequences with a dev like Veq is my experience with him in past.

Now if you decide that is a reason to not support him when you are a patron, that is everyones right, but let his patrons decide that for themselves and not start a witchhunt here, where everyone shouts loudest what a douche he is, without any real knowledge and only suppositions.
