Yeah, he came back after a break where he tried to deal with his depression and delivered an amazing update.
After that he tried to work on new update and to rework some of the older content, and burned himself out in the process.
We hope he will come back one day, alt he informed his discord members before vanishing and told us to stop supporting his patreon for time being.

i dont think so and if he does he doesn't talk on it pretty sure

What's amazing is he still has over 300 Patrons paying him monthly for a game he abandoned almost two years ago.

Well developer said he never abandoned the game he's taking a break I mean look at Pandelo he still has over 400 Patreon's now that's amazing for someone who hasn't been active in over 2 years.

There is no pause. He continues to charge, at least to me.
