As much as I love the character models, this story really is a nothing burger. I get that the prostitution thing wasn't everyone's cup of tea, including me, but at least it felt like it would go somewhere. Since the remake, its just a succession of mundane interactions, less than beliavable sexy moments, tied together by subpar writing.

wait is that what happened? the dev let people bully him out of that plot? What a self inflicted L, the plot now is just a really dull slice of life story with porn logic.

Man the quality of the "animations" really dropped instantly when he switched over to using AI generated ones.
Old ones were crisp and you could actually see what is happening but the new ones are so blurry it makes modern day video games with DLSS, TAA and all that dogshit enabled look crisp in comparison.
Shame,Has some of the best looking women in VN but seeing as he's going forward with Ai garbage i doubt it's going to get any better.

Even the way they loop is weird, just small videos cobbled together with hard pauses in between.

I didn't play the update yet, but every time I look into an AI system for animation, for my own game, I find it so offensive to the eyes (and other body parts) that I stick to Maya, MotionBuilder and my own elbow grease for my work.
I am almost afraid to open this update now, because I really like this game and especially the main lady.
The storyline of this game is really bad, but the character modeling is excellent, which makes it a tough call.

To be fair, I doubt the dev had much of a plan before, as someone with a whole story laid out wouldn't just abandon it so early like that. And while I can't 100% confirm that's what happened, given the whole brothel thing was removed, it's safe to assume the backlash was what got the game remade.
And while I'm also not a fan of having prostitutes as LIs, it would at least be something to shake the status quo, which this current build desperately needs. If your whole story is gonna boil down to "getting closer to girls", you need damn solid writing skills to make that interesting, which this dev clearly doesnt have.
You can still check the old build under "season 1". The game's description is also a leftover.
