Abandoned on F95 generally means the timer ran out and not that the dev gave up though it also shows that the dev has poor communication skills with the chances of them being seen again are rather slim. Still I thought it was over a year without activity.
Last post on Patreon was in June, 2 years ago seems to be the last time he commented on Itch, same for F95 but he was seen on here yesterday, and I'm not sure about Discord. For Patreon though if he is billing monthly he should post something monthly if not more, hell if he's actively posting on Discord it shouldn't take that long to Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V to Patreon

His last Discord message was July 27th. Hasn't said anything since then but the message did imply the game wasn't going to be abandoned. still...we're almost three months since they last showed themselves to the living world in discord
If we were to wait for official statements, the Abandoned prefix might not exist... Most developers simply disappear or promise golden mines on their socials.. F95 enforces the simple law: Proof instead of promises. Official platforms are silent, more than 3 months without a devlog/update, so Abandoned (Discord doesn't count, anything is possible there).
It's possible that the game isn't dead, and also that some pissed-off fan simply reported it out of anger... but that doesn't change the fact that rules are rules.

There has been nothing on patreon since June from the last update release and there's 600 paid members still. It's very slack.

The game has not been abandoned. There is no information about this on the game's official Discord. This abandonment is based on the rules of this forum, see posts above.
Unfortunetly there is precedent about this sort of thing where developer stops updating yet still claiming to work on the game.

That may be true, but it is worth noting that the current update 0.5 was released 386 days after the previous one. And now, 128 days have passed since its release.

I did notice that, and even joined the Discord server before the last release. I like this game, but keep it on the "don't get your hopes up for quick updates" pile.
I just hope the dev doesn't remove MORE content with the "next update"...(Looking at the missing Rina sexy time gallery replay in v0.5 that WAS in 0.4.5.1) ...
Be patient the game has not been canceled I can answer the question about Rina the reason why they removed that scene he said it did not fit into the story real well so it’s gonna get added back into the game later
I asked him about the update. He’s making a bigger update it’s not just working on one character. He’s working on two.

Hmm, developing existing characters...or adding two more random characters and further extending the time it takes to bone the bunny?
I'm just waiting patiently because trying to rush the dev ain't gonna help anyone, either they make it or don't and harassing them won't get us anywhere other than discouraging them even further

Dont forget vast majority of people here are just leechers to get stuff for free.
But then again there are too many devs who just milk their game for years and years so the animosityhas areason to exist
