At least we're given some semblance of choice there, unlike the unavoidable submissive scene with Victoria on day 11.

But yeah, options are generally severely limited: The MC having to spend time with either Maude or Mark in one update automatically leads to a sex scene later on, here she has to get with Sam and Riley, etc.

The MC is written to behave a particular way: submissive, bisexual, a slut (and an idiot, if we include her response to the 'blackmail'), and trying to play her otherwise leads to unsatisfying results.

I like the gameplay and plot of the game, but I found the sex scenes to be poorly represented—too short and abrupt.

I think a good developer should understand that while the plot and other elements are important, the sex scenes should be thoroughly represented, encompassing more than just the mechanical aspect

I agree. If your sex scenes are lackluster, you have to be a pretty good writer to make your game worth playing. Generally it's not the case for those AVN.

At least it's a start. I'll be curious to see if he (Dev) adds any more decisions. There are only 30 more to go. Maybe we might even end up with a really good VN.

Unlike you, I seem to think that a good developer appreciates (and can handle) a reasonable critique and can (maybe) adapt his game as he has advertised it. Until then, my 1-star review remains. Also, unlike you, I don't have to insult anyone because of it. Have a nice one.

While I'm sure the dev would 'appreciate' your 1 star review, I don't think the developer is on here, so I'm not sure if your review has ever been seen by them. The tags and images were put there by an f95 uploader, they haven't changed since the initial upload.
However if they have seen it, I'm sure they'll adapt the game just for you, the guy that whines he's not getting what he wants for free. Wanna have real input? Go support them.

I wonder why you are obviously so bothered by my 1 star review? How do you know the dev isn't here on the forum under some name? Why did the dev add Choices in the last update? Apparently I'm not the only one "whining" (to quote you). How do you know I never supported the dev? Questions upon questions. But you know what, you play the game the way YOU want to play it and I play the game the way I want to play it and we both go our separate ways. I don't bug you and you don't bug me. Sounds cool?!

I wish they'd get the title right on this thread. Everytime there's an update, I'm looking fruitlessly for 'Love, Honor, Betray' in my downloads, when it's actually 'To Love, Honor and Betray'. I have hundreds of different games in my downloads, plus numerous other stuff, and I have them all set up alphabetically, so I need to be looking for the exact name of a download to find anything

Like a lot of games, it's constructed so the player can 'pretend' that the MC is a lesbian, even if she obviously isn't. It's hard to avoid that she obviously enjoys having sex with her husband, even if you try to make it so they don't get any within the game.

I tried to do that on one playthrough. But as you indicate, it just feels hollow and like I'm going against the natural inclinations of the character. So I don't bother anymore.

Most blackmail storylines seem to require a suspension of disbelief, when the otherwise smart heroine suddenly devolves into bimbo mode, so we get a pretext for her abruptly deciding to become a complete whore.
