I have to respectfully take issue with the stance of people on the accountant, I believe most people confuse accounting and bookkeeping. A bookkeeper for sure will spend most of their time with Excel or other software that keeps track of transactions. The head of accounting in a big company would most likely be a CPA in the USA or the equivalent elsewhere, a very quick AI search on the computer skills found " Modern CPAs also need skills in data visualization, cloud computing, cybersecurity awareness, and potentially programming languages like Python or SQL for deeper insights and automation. " I do agree that this does not make someone an expert and admit to overstating the credentials, but, it is not a stretch to imagine that Winifred has way more awareness than she lets on and could very well have skills that would allow her to use information available within the company and so would have access to information on the MC.

Another update, and once again I have to praise the game's author. It's still addictive reading every dialogue and Google-translating what I don't understand; it's worth the effort. Respecting all my colleagues' opinions, "Love and Jealousy" is, for me, the best game of its kind. Granted, I had to take two Lexotams in this update, one when Mia tried to give Lacey ketamine and another when MC watched the fake video (the two most intense parts for me), but it's definitely worth playing. I can't be too critical when I actually get into the game or movie, so for me, the way the game is developing is great.

Regarding ketamine, I'm undergoing treatment with it. I've already had five injections, all done in the hospital. The doctor injects 0.7ml into a 100ml of the serum for one hour each session. Let me tell you something: this ketamine is no joke! During the injection, I'm unable to do anything except see and feel things that can't be explained in words. The sensation is good, but after it's over and they take me home, I sleep for three to four hours. I can't stay awake or walk without help. But after I wake up, I'm back to normal, as if nothing had happened.

I just hope it really helps me with my depression because each session is an "EVENT" and it's a good thing it happens in a hospital, because if it were a pill to take at home...
Well, this drug can really make a person addicted, and you should never underestimate it.

I'm not quite sure what point you're trying to make. Anyway, I have the distinct impression that Professor Amethyst has directly or indirectly experienced some of the things he talks about. Ever since On Distant Shores, he has addressed issues related to depression with a depth, accuracy and expertise that leads me to believe that he has suffered or is suffering from it himself.
All the emotions he describes in this game are described in such depth that I cannot help but think that some of them come from real-life experiences.

Mind you, ketamine done by IV is STRONG, way stronger than snorting it, like on a whole different level, this is why you can use 0.5-1g regularly, while in IV you will probably use milligrams.

The thing I am feeling weird about is the prescient ability of the Monster, this domino effect talk, while I can accept it knowing about the video since it seems to be tracking the FV team actions, how could it know about the future?

really the only stretch is why his personality would be cryptic about shit. then again how would you manage telling your other personality that your whacked in the head and worse all your friends and loved ones are actively trying to ruin you, even if its not intentional. so still makes sense to me.

though the accountant lady makes the most sense, mainly to give her a point of existing in the story beyong a couple statements about the MC not liking her, which up to now is pointless considering no other characters thrown into the mix in parts 1 or 2 have been inconsequential, meaning they all had at some point an important role screwing over the MC in some way.

i just really like MC being the monser cause he asked when do i get to be the monster before the monsters first appearance.

I liked the MC theory too, the Winnie one trumps it in terms of clues, but I liked it nonetheless.

I even built my own headcanon with no basis on the material where Monster MC seems to be able to react to MC messages simply because he would know how MC would answer beforehand, or that the messages were fake and all in Mc "split personality" head, no one sees them besides MC, Anna doesn't even ask to see them (a normal reaction from anyone would be to ask).

I explained the door point by having the message pre recorded and Winnie knocking on MC office's door during the recording, after all we are shown that Mc loses his memory easily, why show that if it wasn't sort of a plot point?

I can confirm, working daily in the field, over half the professional accountants are barely more than application users...including myself...

Yeah, we have a basic understanding, knowledge. But we literally have dedicated departments for coding, IT audits, forensics, etc. They ain't the CPAs...
We have some very intelligent professional accountants who struggle with getting the most out of Excel for goodness sake...
And many barely know how to clear their browsing histories...

Now, Winifred could absolutely be playing opossum, but just because she's an accountant doesn't mean jack shit when it comes to the level of computer skills/knowledge required to manage a corporate IT network let alone set up a hack...
