There are things here you'd hate. Things you'd love also hehe. I'm gonna go more with things you hate though. Lot of forced content currently, especuially in this first update. Lot of forced friendships....forced main LI who you marry...
However...lot of psuedo hinted cuck action too...and your wife does get royally stuffed and filled with cum...who you're forced to watch at one point....
The game is comprised of 3 paths and about 8 potential love interests.
Every single woman (and not only women) you meet will like MC.
Some LI are forced some can be chosen, on 2 occasions rejections remove the LI completely, the others we won't know until the future update..
Your choices do not change the course of the story in ACT 1 even if it is hinted a specific one could in ACT 2.

I honestly I suggest you try it.
It is not the usual stuff you're gonna find around and there are some themes that are treated properly (sometimes not too much but you can't fault the author for being young and inexperienced).
I would make some examples but I don't want to spoil in the case you choose to try it.
It is a tale of anguish, if you are against NTR then it is really not for you, I am also VERY against NTR, but I gave it a chance anyway and got hooked to the story, I even skip the sex stuff as it is irrelevant (aside from 3 scenes that actually are meaningful to the story).
If I gauged your preferences right, you will like the end.
I stand corrected then.
To be fair I didn't expect to enjoy it and I bet you didn't plan to enjoy it either!

You make a fair point and I was somewhat the same myself. Hell, I don't like it but it's compelling enough to see where it goes, but while I'm not sure about saphfire, 'I' do know Joshy well enough to know what he likes and doesn't and I think he's probably better staying away from this one heh.

You hit several of the story shortcomings.
This is mainly the fault of the author that tried to look for shock value scenarios using several expedients to avoid actually trying to go deep and face the hard questions and facts.
The story tries to be deep and explore difficult emotions and situations but the more you read it and get aquainted to the shock value style you see how actually shallow it is.
Most of the topics are dealt with only on surface level, trying pseudo therapy approach that leaves the player with literally 0 closure.
This is why you despise both Lacey and MC, because none of their behavious is explored properly by neither of them.
Lacey is covered by the silly brain damage excuse, even if it actually denied by her later in the game, claiming knowledge of what she was doing (wow she seemed like an actual human being in that scene), but it is quickly erased again.
Ketamine literally does not work like it is portrayed, it feels like someone read a study on a particular effect and then used it to build a narrative around it that does not make sense at all, ignoring everything else.
MC instead is never made to face anything aside of "I am jealous and angry" which are both very valid emotions in the situation, but they are portrayed as cardinal sins simply because the story asks for it.
MC also.underlines several times.how he is hurt from being abandoned, but what we are being told by others is that his problem is that Lacey enjoyed sex with other men.
This creates a total cognitive dissonance, since you cannot match what is being said in one instance completely contradicts what is said in another.
And obviously the whole "I am excited to see you with other men" which is so weak story and character wise that you know it was put there to leave the cucks satisfied.
Due to this MC "damage" is never fully.explored or respected, like properly respected from a phycological point of view, everyone rallies around Lacey and MC is left to rot and made to be the guilty part.
Speaking of cognitive dissonance, how can the player reconcile Lacey saying "plant the seeds and build like a garden" with the jealousy date and the "let's open the relationship in 2 weeks".
The game and story needed more branching and meaningful choices aside from how to fuck Lacey and which LI to pursue.
Add all the other issues I often talk about like accountability and crucial.points left open and the story takes a big hit in terms of immersion.
A game for no one he says. Having played On the Mountain Top, I think his games lack some of the usual porn game polish, but the way he draws the player into the emotions of the story is simply masterful. I agree, a lot of people won't like that, simply want another stock porn game, but that does not make them right. Besides which it is unfair to accuse a game of being undeveloped and lacking depth after the first act/chapter.
I think it is important to become aware of how psychological and physical harm breaks us. Much better than calling them fetishes and catering to them. Certainly there will be resistance to that. It is not entertaining.
