Not true, i absolutely hate ntr, always have, always will. But this isn´t a ntr story . It´s not netorare because Lacey would never leave him, she will not be taken from him. Its not netorase either because everything happens without mc´s consent. Only excpetion is the so
called jealousy date that the mc can stop right after a kiss (which i still would like to have a choice to not do it...) Technically it has a one time cheating scene with . Everything else sexual related happend before they were together.
Always the voice of reason, I agree wholeheartedly but...who the fuck is

I don't like (unavoidable) NTR games but this seems to have all of the things I don't like about them, like unavoidable NTR. If you're going to make an NTR game, you'd be better off making it for people who DO like NTR.
Why would you make an NTR game targeted at the vanilla audience? Those people hate NTR with a blind fury.
Every time someone makes a comment to the effect of "This doesn't fit into a established genre, thus bad." all I can think of is Hideo Kojima's career e.g. Metal Gear "Who would want to play a game where the goal it to avoid the action" and Death Stranding "It's literally a walking sim who wants that?!?" and then you know how both were massively successful and MG started the now massive stealth genre.

Let devs and writers do their own thing and if it sucks, it sucks, but don't try to force them to color within the lines, that's how we get repetitive slop games E.g. Pokémon, most any sports game, the endless supply of boring incest, harem, and/or NTR games with the exact same fucking plots!!! (over and over and over again... :HideThePain:)

Edit: Used there instead of their, I hate myself.

I remember when games used to have synopsis as pretentious as the one i'm seeing right now. They almost always ended up being trash, average or nothing new that sets itself apart.

the fact that a dev writes a synopsis like that is a red flag that they don't feel confident in their dialogue and how they tell a story, so they felt the need to compensate with a synopsis like that.

The dev sounds like he has a martyr clomplex.

His latest post just confirms the martyr complex. He’s painfully self-deprecating, like he’s begging to be crucified, then throws up a “poll” where both options insult himself, and one frames the audience as assholes for not letting him take a break.

That’s not honesty, it’s manipulation. He’s not asking for feedback, he’s fishing for sympathy and trying to offload responsibility. If he needs a break, he should just say it. This performative guilt-trip just kills any confidence in him or his project.

How many NTR sex scenes were there believe 1 NTR and rest were NTS if it would be on him or her am I correct. Every other sex scene was before relationship so it would just be she was a hoe. So is this VN truly NTR focused or trust focus.Just curious.

So let me just say first off that i'm very excited for this game. I'm looking forward to the story, to seeing where you take this (mr. dev). However... the visuals are SO. FREAKING. DISTRACTING!!!! Every woman in this game looks like they just finished middle school - and that is so confusing given how many of them are (theoretically?) supposed to be older. Like, the boss-lady (the black girl) seriously does not look like she's finished with high school. Every time she says something that a supervisor/manager would say, my reaction is to chuckle at the idea of a teenager being in charge of a company.
The girlfriend and her friend, too, appear way younger than a post-college woman should look. Only the Asian girl is believable, visually.

You've got the writing part down, from what i've played. Love that you have a plan you're going to follow, love that there is interactivity and the ability for the player to shape the story. But damn... really wish the characters looked like women, not tweens.

While that is partially true, here it has way more weight on the Novel side of a VN. The visuals are there to support the story.
I guess you mean that sometimes the faces look too young, certainly not their bodies... I think it´s not a VN but a vN!

Scrolling through comments to see what the game is about because the synopsis was a bit vague.

Most of them are people arguing about the fucking synopsis, but haven't played the damn game.
Guy marries his childhood sweetheart after they been separated for years, thinking she saved herself for him like he did for her. After the marriage he is shown evidence of quite the opposite and on top of that has to watch her be chased after by her male colleagues, while trusting that nothing happens.
It evolves from there but I don't want to spoil too much of the game should you choose to play it.

To add on what Buffalo said, the game touches some hard topics such as child abuse, mental health and drug addiction.

You have PC in your signature so you might not be phased too much (great game btw), but this game is pretty heavy handed with it.
It goes deep on how damaging some relationships are and how (if) the people in them can be salvaged.

It might not be written perfectly but it is a VERY solid attempt.

The game doesn't start at all. I click the .exe file and nothing happens. The first Ren'Py game that didn't start at all.

I really enjoyed the game and felt a lot of compassion for Lacey, but I have to admit that Damian’s route changed that for me. She became quite hard to relate to, and it put the MC in a cuckold-type position—which didn’t seem to match the tone the game initially set. In my opinion, Damian’s arc would have worked better as a player choice, especially in a visual novel format. That said, I completely respect the author’s vision—it’s just a personal feeling, and I realize the story may not be for me anymore

I absolutely hated that scene, but it is needed. I don´t know how often i reread act one but it must have been at least a dozen times, and yes this scene is essential to understand the story. Considering the fact that act one took at least 15 hours if you read carefully
i realize that i have way to much freetime in my life lol.

I'd like to review this one even the English isn't my native one. I like to read every VN aloud. And I've read this one really aloud/ Like really crying loud. At parts at clliffside I was almost screaming aloud if you get it. It's awful how this author circles around NTR scenes. Just do it or don't. But in the conspect it's almost. Normal. Almost. He's saying it's normal NTS, but it's awful. I mean this one around really don't change anything. Everything almost as expexted. Except you're lightly have a valuation on the end of the story. I mean you can't help it that's your girl is a cheater but she didn't think about it like that. She thijnks it's normal. What can you do against that?

Yes. It's like someone went through a middle school yearbook and just added big boobs (as a reviewer noted, JUST boobs - no hips or womanly shape whatsover). For reference, look at these 'women' - really LOOK at these, and tell me i'm crazy.

It can't just be me, right? This is SO BIZARRE it's impossible to immerse myself in the story!

Do you want to know a funny thing? That was actually a choice at some point of development, there are a few dialogue files pointing to that.

I don't have much compassion for Lacey in act 1, but I suggest you push through, no one liked that scene or the aftermath for various reasons (I, for example don't like how it is downplayed and never explored properly), I can only ask you get to act 2 and meet a specific woman again.

I absolutely hated that scene, but it is needed. I don´t know how often i reread act one but it must have been at least a dozen times, and yes this scene is essential to understand the story. Considering the fact that act one took at least 15 hours if you read carefully

You know, I am not even sure it was needed, stuff was already piling up and in act 2 it is not particularly touched upon while it should have been one of the main points, the jealousy date "magically" solved everything it seems, I would have focused on the millions of fires already lit or start early with some Jared shenaningans, sending videos and pictures of Lacey to MC house or in the internet for example, or even spreading damaging rumors.

To me that scene never gets resolved, the explanations are just too weak all around to make a compelling argument, my friend Dianne actually goes into it and they are absolutely right.

It is not only you, I also find these a bit offputting, I focus on the story.
Veronica is passable, Jeanette is the worst.
One of two characters you meet later will have more mature faces.

Since you called Mia "Lacey's pimp", I welcome you to the brotherhood.
Congratulations.

You leave, or at the very least try to stop being manipulated and put your foot down.
But if MC was a sane person the game would have ended in the first 15 minutes.
