Yeah on a personal note, that was where I ended my playthrough of the game. I don't like NTR (not here to start a fight, we like what we like is all good) - but the OP suggested this was an "NTR game for people that hate NTR" so I gave it a try. I was already getting close to stopping and that one solidified it for me. I can't root for the MC sticking around after that tbh, and the threat of suicide in order to keep him there is toxic as all hell.

Well, your intro was a little confusing, but the spoiler info cleared things up a bit. The story sounds very interesting and a bit different from other NTR stories, so mission accomplished. But, I noticed you already got a "hate or angry" emoji already from a NTR hater, so I hope you didn't expect to smooth those guys over, lol. I'm around the whole tennis debacle atm, so I don't know how long it has left, but you have really nailed it so far.
I've played games on here with bitches forcibly cuckolding dudes with belts and shit and I still think this girl is the most toxic I have ever read. Because in most of those games they are silly caricatures, but her toxicity is very realistic and pretty common.

Mind you, this does not only revolves around sex, a lot of small and silly things that you do in a relationship will never be only theirs, we just get a small glimpse of it.
So to end this wall of text, yes he is damaged and suffers from PTSD episodes.
No it doesn't make sense, that is the point, Lacey wants to show him and give him lessons about life.
He doesn't need either, especially from a damaged drug addict, but she puts herself in the position of the teacher because she wants to, she wants to teach him how to understand her relationship with sex and to also go and have some fun.
She then proceeds to make him feel guilty about it and requests more, but that is another story.
Quite some time ago I made a similar post to yours, if Lacey wasn't selfish she would have given him a free pass and give clear instructions to her circle of friends, that she is able to manipulate easily (we see it).
Maybe even participate to ease him into the concept, but Act 1 Lacey is Act 1 Lacey, so what can you do?
Keep going, some stuff gets explained and mildly explored later.

Thought this was reframing NTR, but the MC is still a pussyboi who can't hold his shit. He has a trauma-inflicted sex addict of a wife, and all he does is mope about his own mental state. Life is cruel, why not use it to your advantage? Your mental state is as complicated as you make it out to be. Often, the most complex issues require the simplest solutions to reset your state of mind.

in all honesty there isnt much for choices you need to add at least a hudred choices otherwise this isnt a novel more like flip a swithc this is what you get. hes makeing to many decisions without much from us at all feels like watching a video you have to hold the button down to actually see whats happening. so ya not enough choices this is probably worse than any japanese NTR ive seen. the part you know whats shes doesing and let it happens cause you dont havethe option to change it you know shes going to get stolen but you cant do anything about it. all it gives you the option for is the other girls.....why ?

So I am going to spoil you a bit, please try to keep going and understand the story if you can't, read my spoilers.
There is NO WAY Lacey could ever be stolen from MC, without too many details he actually stole her somehow, you will see what I mean.
Your choices will have an impact, not much for now but you will be able to shape your relationships and various LIs, up until now there are no choices that can avoid the main "events" of the game.
As a last suggestion, the game relies a lot on shock value, try to get numb to it quickly, it is easier to get into the story that way, avoiding many of the shocks, some of them, when looked at with a cool head are actually start to look pretty silly, like they are only there for keeping you out of balance, others not so much.
This will allow you to focus on the dialogues.
Looking at your posts, choose the no fun OR punish route, the slut route is slightly better in act 1 because it explores some aspects, in act 2 it doesn't really matter because all the events are weaker.
This game is about the story and characters, there is a lot to read because there is a lot of exploration:
is some of it self serving? yes
is some of it repeated? also yes
But it is all done for the purpose of driving the story forward and help the emotions of the characters on the surface.

Or they could just be in a bad spot. Dev's been working on this and OTMT simultaneously. I can't imagine how Dev's mind works to come up with this content but I imagine you would have to have at least one foot in darkness. Being a solo dev means a lot of work to keep both ships sailing while trying to appease their followers. I wouldn't go straight to terms like, "martyr complex".

This game has a pretty serious bug that causes system shutdown. I don't know what the bug is, but it has happened to me more than once and on the earlier version.
