People would have no empathy for a dude whining about getting his shit stolen, if he was the one who opened the door and invited a bunch of people with guns and fullfaces in. It's the same thing. Ntr and nts should always be separate for that reason.

What if I want her to deteriorate back to the druggie slut and finally dump her to the fate she deserves? Is this a possible route if he lets it happen? Because at this point it seems like the only reason to keep playing this. Zero interest to keep them together.

I do have empathy for MC, especially because his support group is full on toxic and borderline evil.
Sometimes people need help to stand up, it is not a shame to ask for help, he has years and years of damage and self reliance to overcome.

Still I would not have him as a friend, but if I could buff him up and send him on his way I probably would.

The route you are suggesting doesn't seem to be there, but read the NO FUN route carefully.
MC might not always be the good guy.

We don't know in the end if they will be together, the amount of women (and not only that) that find him extremely charming is almost endless.
Which is the hardest part for me to reconcile.

I have always toy'd with the idea that the MC needs to lean into Lacey's fears of him leaving her for her to somewhat gauge how he feels

So yes I know the feeling of jealousy and the fear/feelings of the MC leaving Lacey are different

But I've always wondered that if the MC say took him self off for two weeks or something like that with little to know contact with Lacey then on his return he explains that all those feelings she had while he was away and how she had no control over it etc, are the same/similar to how the MC feels in regards to jealousy, as she always struck me as someone for her to actually understand something it needs to be visual/ actually experience it for it to sink in rather than it being verbal if that makes sense

This is not wrong, there are hints, we will see.
Lacey is definitely terrified that MC will leave her at a moment notice, that someone will steal him, so what you are suggesting might work.

When you get to act 2 there are several conversations about that.

And the way I see it, she never stopped being that person. She just uses a bunch of rationalizing to avoid the guilt caused by her selfishly pursuing her impulses. Neither had the therapy and medication for Lacey any lasting results yet nor has the MC even really realized that he needs therapy too. Dont let the naming of "Acts" fool you. This will not end after Act 3. The story can go in almost any kind of direction.
The only direction that is burned is the happy romantic ending. That route is definetely closed.

Well that is one of my biggest gripes, considering Lacey used even before the pimping.
In my headcanon she definitely was a prostitute, there is NO WAY, even with all the generous dudes around that you could sustain an addiction of that proportion.

Yep, I am actually happy that this can become a saga instead of a story, especially if the acts are this long.
I have to commend the author for that.

it's hard to say but I very much go hot and cold on this theory for one reason , which is the familiar voice is it that the voice is familiar to the characters or to us as the player , so that's what throws me

No, you still did not provided believable scenario how Lacey could willingly (or else "corruption" is pointless) fuck random man and not MC if being with MC was one of her main goals. So Mia control was not absolute. But with some random guy for some reason she was willing. How does that work exactly?

If Mia's power over Lacey was greater than her devotion to MC, then she would make Lacey her own. And if not - then she couldn't force her to sleep with anyone. Simple logic.

Let's get into the moment right before Lacey agreed to have sex first time. 1) Lacey is ready for sex (goal achieved). 2) She is not spoiled yet. And please answer this exact question: Why Lacey did not go to MC at this moment?

A gallery should be standard in all this kind of games by now, and the game needs a start at X Act with a pathmaker kind of thing, the acts are long, even skipping all, and the "route" choice is fairly early in the story, and with updates of this ammount of content, its gonna get even longer.
