I am really curious about this “other side” too.
Had similar thoughts to you on the matter, although it could also go the other direction, in that she reverts to a pre-college phase, where she was still unable to cope with all her trauma and abuse
So...I'm in Act 1, I guess, right at the drunk Barty and subsequent talk with Mia. And I decided to save it and put it away for a while. Because... I don't know... You got me really invested into the story up to this point, and I'm torn. Between supporting your work and accidentally running into you in the parking lot. That plot point was absolutely ridiculous. Just as ridiculous as the one where both Mia and Anna gaslit the MC into leaving the house that one morning when Lacey's split personality/alter-ego/ dark passenger (I'm guessing) reared it's ugly head. They probably had to get her off so she would calm down and revert. Why would the MC let it go, and why the hell would Anna take part in this elaborate coverup...I guess I'll find out in a week. Or never.

Since he build himself for that, i think that would almost be a gift for him, not something he is not ready or mybe ever be ready

Guys, need your opinion... do you think Lacey is a sex-addict ? Will her 'darker' side ooner or later take over and influence the couple s life ??
Also, am i wrong to be suspicious of the therapist? I know it hasn’t had it’s arc yet, hence not much info yet, just think the secrecy/privacy has is veiled is mystery for something later down the line

Because he would never make a sacrifice, right? For a chance to undo the damage she made to herself, he would do it without doubt. And even Lacey knows that.
He would be ready for a precollege Lacey and even happy about it

I have to wonder if this is next level writing, where dev is letting little hints of the truly despicable slut that she is through. Or if they really do it and on accident and it doesn't even register to them how that dialogue looks in context.
I mean you'd think being so sneakily patronizing and condescending in that situation, would be strong indication of psychopathy. But because that drooling retard keeps ignoring shit like that, I tend to believe they aren't intentional.

I mean, I feel what like Barty was a a thing the MC was suspicious about FIRST, and addressed first, and now we have a payload there. I think we are going to get fed scenes showing Lacey was absolutely full of it and did way more than get groped in the closet at work. The dress and "dance!", the exhaustion... I think we are going to find out she was an office party favor and got used thoroughly. Can't wait for some bullshit rationale there, going to be amusing. Act 1 was all the past, act 2 showed she has fucked up VERY recently. I think we are going to keep building. Only thing is, MC currently isn't about the NTR or even NTS, unless you pick some very specific options for the one scene. Any self respecting man would already have left. Wonder how we rationalize him staying.
Isaac was introduced last, and seems to have the most actual hostility. I bet there hasn't been a betrayal there YET, but there WILL be.
I am not about the NTR/cuck fetish, I have my own issues and like corruption/trainer stuff. So I play these games to watch the spiral. Seems like there will be plenty.

No, you still did not provided believable scenario how Lacey could willingly (or else "corruption" is pointless) fuck random man and not MC if being with MC was one of her main goals. Only "Lacey let her do that, an abused, lonely and druggie girl ler her abuser abuse her". How? Lacey firmly told Mia that she loved MC and she was not willing to be with her. So Mia control was not absolute. But with some random guy for some reason she was willing. How does that work exactly?
If Mia's power over Lacey was greater than her devotion to MC, then she would make Lacey her own. And if not - then she couldn't force her to sleep with anyone. Simple logic.
Let's get into the moment right before Lacey agreed to have sex first time. 1) Lacey is ready for sex (goal achieved). 2) She is not spoiled yet. And please answer this exact question: Why Lacey did not go to MC at this moment?

What is the difference? Even ordinary girls can have body count in tens and then be a responsible wife. Past is past, present is present. Of course hundreds is a lot, and hurting MC is a big deal too. But he knew she had some troubles as a child, so it's not that far fetching that she would have problems in college. He sacrificed so much already, why not just forgive her? If he claimed that he loves her, it seems like a natural thing to do. To be in a relationship he HAVE to accept her past. And she HAVE to get over her past too. Or else there is no point for them to be together.

Yeah, also the routes will be split even more, sadly in act two the routes are underwhelming, both punish and slut are very tame and feel completely different from the ones in act 1, that were very visceral and powerful. Punish choice 2 is the only salvageable one.
Now even more choices will be saved, party games, bimbofication, tits for some characters, so the branching could be quite extensive.
Interesting thought, but it is stated often that that girl doesn't exist anymore.
He is, the author has an issue in holding women accountable in general, but this specific behaviour from Lacey does get addressed later in act 2, she doesn't get magically better but at least you can feel vindicated.
Even more condescending is when she tries to give him lessons such as "I know I just cheated on you but I am at the bar flirting, which is a completely normal thing to do" (spoiler, it isn't especially after you've been pumped full of cum by a stranger in mondovision)
The whole Barty thing is weird, I don't know if it was planned or just added to create drama for act 2.
Because it doesn't make sense, we know Barty came and tried to fuck Lacey, Lacey sends him away, now we discover that at some point before this Barty forced a video of her asking hurtful things.
Barty then comes through and helps MC against Jared.
I can't reconcile the things, it is like they were written for two different stories.
Lacey couldn't be used as a party favour, unless you skipped all the Jared event in act 1, it is pretty clear.
Jared is known for pump and dump, if Lacey was pumped so much, why would he go to such lenghts?
Yes we are lucky the MC has the self worth of a sea slug and is completely dependant and subservient to Lacey.
Isaac could go both ways, he could be lying, but there was some emotional opnening between them.
I don't like the development honestly, since it skips over a VERY important thing that happened.
But the author likes to show that the power of MC for making friends is his superpower and gets him through difficult times, such as Jared blackmail.
So who knows, the info about the cameras is pretty important, they will be used by or against MC for sure.
