Yes, it's a spiritual successor of sorts.
The short and simple story is the original developer of DAST was unable to finish the project themselves. Rather than let the project die, they passed on all the assets to a new developer, Meepish, along with the full creative authority that comes with it. Meepish has made enough changes to the game it might as well be a new title and forum.

Thanks for that info. I was really disappointed seeing that the game was abandoned, but even if the new developer makes some changes I'll still give it a chance.

I played the "original" game, just played this the first time.
I was not a fan of the character changes, but with the new name, new Cassie, forum thread, I can totally separate the two in my mind.
Like it, good start. Two minor thing: The black girl with her hair looks like a grandma sometimes And would be nice to have an outlined font, white characters, black outline.

pretty good start, I was skeptical heading in but the models look good and I'm interested in more. The one thing I liked about the original game and am curious if its returning is how your wife will cheat on you depending on how you treat her. It would be nice to see that back as an optional kink and if there's plans for more ntr (optional of course) that would be great to.

Oh, I totally agree. To each his/her own. And I also agree that hairless or not the women in the game are gorgeous and sexy. And yes, the pubes are not the determening factor if someone is attractive, beautiful and interesting.

I would advise to have the into about the "character" options right at the begining. It would be better at the start to know, you can change stuff.
Unfortunatelly, the first release was very short.
