It is a Koikatsu game.

The idea of customizing the visuals away from "default Koikatsu" isn't bad intrinsically - it's far from the first game that has used Koikatsu as a "baseline" but does other stuff with it after the initial render. For example, there are games that use Koikatsu for the general modelling, but then trace a hand-drawn style over it (example). Lots of Koikatsu VN authors also use mods that give their characters different styles/model shapes/shading/etc. from default Koikatsu (example). And none of the "best animated" Koikatsu games use the built-in Koikatsu animations (which are fairly stiff and repetitive), but completely custom animations (example).

Whether or not people like the look of the AI CG alterations is obviously another matter, and up to each person subjectively (and lots of people dislike Koikatsu in general, never mind AI).

I don't actually mind this game's style and think the AI alterations actually seem to work quite well, but am definitely not a fan of its mechanics once it breaks into sandbox mode - it lacks any of the convenience/anti-annoyance features of better made sandboxes (eg. map navigation, event/character location hints, event completion tracking and replays, etc.). On top of that, the layouts seem to shift based on time of day, making navigation a huge pain. Also found several options that error the game out. I probably wont come back to this one unless the sandbox is either fully removed in favor of just being kinetic, or significantly improved.

Thanks you get it. Also the model I use works well with keeping the koikatsu style so thats why they look really similiar. I have tried other models and recently have gotten a work flow that works great with other models(will probably see in whenever I start working on another game). Also thanks for the feedback on the game. The Sandbox is very lacking right now I know I plan for my next update to tackle the gameplay of the game because I haven't been doing a good job playtesting rather just focusing on events and images. That and music are what I want to focus on in the next 2 updates which by the end of I will hopefully be done with the first sandbox and can take the lessons I learned into the next one.

1. The sister content thing is a bit misleading. my original plan was that a biological sister may show up and say hi and react to the current situation her brother has gotten himself into and leave(no sex between them) . Now personally I don't like it when porn games show me a female character that looks good and there is no sexual content to them. So to remedy this I had an idea that since for patreon only content I plan to just have fun with it and put in scenes that have no bearing on the overall story I could show that biological sister getting fucked in one of those. The scene would play out with literally no mention of the mc and whoever the guy is in the scene would be mentioned as her preexisting bf or just left unanswered and it would take place in a completely different time and place than the main game. Also the character I mentioned filling the role is not a biological sister just one that will fill the role eventually as in living with mc and maybe evening calling him brother and stuff, still a bit off from that character though

1.1. I see people have been worried about NTR but let me say this clearly here. For this game there will be no NTR for the male mc. Now later in the story one of the girls might feel NTR'd by another one but I have a feeling most people who don't like NTR would be fine with this.

1.2. My goal with this game is to do a vanilla harem very well you should be able to understand my thought process for this game if you keep that in mind

2.Is the game actually slice of life or will it become existential horror?/ No I don't plan to do lessons in love style stuff although their work is great. The compelling stuff in this game I want too come from the girls personalities and parts of their backstories as well as their interactions with each other.

3. MC for now is the only male character. I think I would like some friend male characters but my method for the art in this game causes all the males I make too look like girls/femboys so right now its unlikely there will be more male characters.

4.The MC in this game is a self insert in the sense as you don't really see him and he's kind of bland. However there are decisions that he will make himself and moments where he as a character becomes important but for the most part I think you can kind of project yourself on him pretty well.

5. planned tags. I am pretty sure f95 has some tag changes coming up so I don't know how soon this might become deprecated but

Lesbian is probably the easiest to make optional so there will probably be something like that. The way I have it my head with most other tags is that most girls will have kind of a core concept that their sexual/relationship is built around. As an example Mili and Hina both right now act as examples of semi-generic relationships(although they will diverge a bit latter) and the progression with them will follow as pretty generic. A lot of the tags I have in find especially the more extreme ones would most likely be used as climax scenes. This is just an example no plans for this in the game but imagine a girl who is a party girl or whatever and you slowly bring her into a normal relationship but she says she misses partying a bit. Maybe the climax scene could be you guys doing drugs together and having a really long drug infused sex scene but that would be a one time thing and if you wanted to see those type of scenes again you would have to actively make a choice. Hopefully that makes sense.

I mostly made that list of tags to give me wide area to play in so I don't lock myself into having or not having certain elements.
