No. Definitely not. (Well, maybe in the Soviet Union which dissolved in 1989--the last year of the 1980s, I suppose. )

Early rock'n'roll started in the 50s & 60s; trans-national corporations started hundreds of years earlier with the Dutch East-India Company; the spirit of freedom and rebellion against society was the 60s--the 80s was extreme conservatism and conformity (preppies were a revolt *against* punk!); political intrigues--What?!? How about the U.S.A.'s, French, Russian, and Maoist Revolutions?; globalization *started* in the early 80s!!!--by 1990, almost no one younger than 30 would ever have a secure job!; AND money meant *everything*--the Soviet Union was bankrupted out of existence for f*** sakes!

Hmmf! Young people know nothin' about history. Bozhe moi!

Has there been any update from the developers? The demo has been out for a few years at least (the initial trailer was posted on Youtube nearly 4 years ago), and last March they claimed that there wasn't much time left until release, but now on Steam they still just have a vague "2021" as their release date and I can't see any other updates or news.
