I was gonna make a No sexual content joke, but that game is actually quite a nice joke. you gotta pay money after a certain point?? incredible.
Anyone know if the game still have no sexual content? I'm down for it if so but I just dont want to play the game with the expectation of explicit content only to blue ball myself.
I guess it will take long. Another kickstarter game, Into the hoop, also promised +18 content, its been months and its still censored. Not the same developer but I guess thats how it will be.

Nice game. CG is very good. Writing is ok. Bought it on steam. Had a good end with Ellie. It felt something like Tom Clancy's with dating sim.

but basically enable hints. red icon is good blue icon is bad so if character is shown in red it increase relationship points. most of stuff is based on relationship points. 8 gets you good ending 7 gets you another ending less than 7 another then for example in Himitsu route the final choice leads either to ending based on the points or another bad ending depending on what you choose.How very weird, I started seeing CGs ( with obvious 18+ sexual content) of the game on some Russian imageboards recently so I though the game finally released yet here it's no sexual content. Gonna have to look into it.
Wrong. It's not a porn novel, at all. Where you got impression it's "Kinda like a porn" is beyond me. There are not even suggestive CGs or jokes - it's just not about it. Low rating is because people expected "sexy girls doing sexy things" type of content - and didn't get what they wanted.

Much better. It's existential drama with lot of personal philosophy and society criticism. Quite heavy and depressing stuff - it's not a media made for "entertainment". I find some similarities to Cross+Channel vn or Crime and Punishment book - MC is far from being a pleasant guy - that's for sure. Everlasting Summer is much more naive work in comparison.
I am afraid some strength of writing can be lost in Russian>English translation though. There are lot of great lines which I can't imagine how to translate properly without losing their unique style - if the reader is not a dedicated fan of classic Russian literature - i.e. doesn't know outdated words used there.
P.S.: I would recommend to update the game to version 3.33 since it fixes some bugs not allowing to see all CGs.

At this point VN is kinda synonymous with porn of some degree. Making a VN with no porn in it is begging for a bunch of disappointed people. No porn = might as well just make a .pdf or .txt format of the story, far simpler and no wasted time rendering. Needles to say it would have to be a pretty epic story on the NYT best seller list with a line of people from Hollywood wanting to make it into a movie to get more than a cult following even remotely interested in it. As they say sex sells.

AFAIR top 5 best-selling VN titles of the last decade doesn't contain any porn in them.
Porn = might as well also just make a .pdf or .txt format of the lewd story, also far simpler and no wasted time rendering. Why do you even want porn in a VN then?
Lots of reasons. One big one is incest and/or loli AVN's usually get away with it when it's 3D rendered while a real porno version will get a major production studio shut down rather quickly. In essence AVN's are mostly a legal work-around for those that jack off to unusual kinks.
