Only done with second book, but I just want to say, this game for some reason stands out to me character development wise.
The unique twist on Arthurian and other pantheon lore, the beautiful romance, the fact that any lewd scenes are just a bonus, not the main point.. And also, the fact that the game is actually finished (almost) and never loses track on random irrelevant nonsense just to prolong development time...love it.
All in all just makes me all warm and fuzzy. Whoever did the story for this is a beautiful and creative person and I'm sending them a hug from a random internet stranger that enjoys this. I'll buy the game as a complete collectible on steam some time down the road when I return to it for sure.

If you do not have enabled the dev branch in steam to see book III, you can do it now if you were waiting on the main story to be over and done with.
While some stuff will probably be tweaked/re done over time, I'm both very pleased, and extremely sad as well, to announce than the last day, and what appears to be the story's conclusion, is now reachable as of 3.5 hours ago on the latest dev branch in steam.
I am... not sure on whether to congratulate Droid Productions on this massive milestone, or, kidnap him, handcuff him to a bunch of computers, and force him to go for more!
It is one of these times where your heart is splitting for two reasons: Massive happiness, and massive sadness knowing that every thing coming next in the game, is only going to be minor things/tweaks, but that the story, is now over. Sure, NG+ is coming and so on eventually... but, the main story, is ... over... it's reached its conclusion. It is the END.
I think sadness is slightly larger than happiness on this one, because this game truly was a gem, a rare extremely polished gem, clearly loved and nurtured well by its maker (refereed to from hereon as Daddy).
It is clear Daddy raised it well, helped it sprout to near its best potential, however:

As a "celebration" of sort, both for the game's basically being completed, and me getting out of the shit I've been in for the past couple of months by finding a new job, I've completed the badge's collection on steam.
I apologize for the sudden price changes of trading cards, but since not that many are around, there was no other way to complete my game's badge
Since I've got nobody else I can buy the games for at this time, that's the only way I had for now to send some cash in Droid's way... ain't much though, about 3.92 before steam takes its cut...
If any german people are around and unable to buy the game, I'm in a gifting mood right now...

The story and characters captured the hearts of many... mine included. I said before that they are "people" you can care about. Some more than others perhaps, and at least one you can hate with passion... regardless of what reality you find yourself in. Droid Productions sparked emotions. Not something you find in most "porn" games. And a disappointment to a small minority, but joy to so many is that the sex scenes tend to add to the story, but are NOT the story. A tale is told. A very well written tale. A mystery, with small bread crumbs dropped in the most innocent places. A line here or there in Bk 1 or 2 that you say, "AH HA!" in Bk 3! A love story... several in fact. Really the only thing I would change is when one of The Chosen tells MC she loves him, he just says, "I love you too", and drop the part about "not the same as Emily". But hey! If that comes as my only gripe, does it really matter? I will replay LOM, long after it's final act is written, and dream of Faeries dancing, dressed in moonlight!
Ahhh... gingers! Never gave them much thought (good or bad really) before this "game". But, like so many, there is at least one who stole the show! Sure, Katie would be fun to drink with, and slip her some Fae brandy when she is not looking, and no one better to have your back in a brawl, but Bella... "beatific beauty" both inside and out. Droid Productions , you really set a high bar for yourself in character development! I have a good feeling that many of us will be writing similar tributes on the Morningstar pages.

You do not want to see children in DAZ... They are creepy and scary... And for "new" lady there it was 8 months since she was introduced to community and mentioned few times in story itself...

Well, I bought a new mouse today, since my old one was starting to do really weird shit all the time.
After discussing with the salesman, when he asked me which kind of games I was playing at the moment... Well, y'all know where this is going don't you?
Long story short, there should be another French player at some point if he's got the balls... His colleagues, were absolutely terrified of me, because I spared very few details as to what AVNs were, or contained...
Doing the horned lord's work people ... I'm right behind Jenny (yep, totally meant to write that) for the holly work of spreading the love of magic.

Yes, I can imagine you telling the salesman that you played a game that is a love story based on the Arthurian legend of The Once and Future King, with a Faery Princess, Daemons, Norse Gods where Thor is an asshole, Celtic mythology, demon foxes, necromancers, nuclear warheads stolen by a sorceress, travel between realities, a gospel rock singer turned apostle/ rope bunny, a political coup, mercenaries, were creatures, orcs with AK47's, trolls, people throwing fireballs, inter dimensional cam whores, giant monsters, dragons, and GINGERS! Yea, I can see that conversation going in several possible directions!
I focused on the epic story, deep lore and research done by droid, and I mentioned the Valkyrie's phone number and company being real, and me actually calling them to check... I did not spoil anything, I only explained the general setting.
If it is to be hist first AVN, there shall be no spoilers! I only mentioned the pendragons, the alternate world, the various myths being present, and things like that. HE still knows fuck all about the story, that's something one needs to experience blind!
He was pretty receptive and seemed curious about it. His other two colleagues, were simply horrified.

I basically told him that there were a "couple of sex scenes" in it.
I just thought it wise to leave it at that, and let him see... what's deep in there on his own.

I just had a quick look at steamdb, and while we're not many, we are faithful:
Peak concurrent player, is 86 for both book I and II, 6 players currently on book I, and 7 on book II.
Rarely have I seen something so... even.
The follower count is a bit low on the newer games though, 379 for book III and 159 for morningstar...
I am wondering if there's a reason for that?

Second, even for you, it'll make it a lot easier to manage, especially for testing, since you can have multiple dev branches in steam (alpha, beta, testing stuff).
As you've seen probably for Love of Magic, this gave you a lot of freedom to have separate builds running, without getting lost in links, and what not.
It will also allow us to post reviews early. Usually, that's a mixed blessing since bad reviews can be unfair during an EA, but in your case, and considering how loyal your followers are, the chances of that happening are fairly low
In your case though, it'll be a lot of positive reviews from very early on, many of which will probably mention your history, which at the end of the day will increase the likely hood of people buying it in steam. It's all good stuff for you, isn't it?
As ad added bonus, since some like mine will be marked as early access reviews, BUT, they won't be "received product for free", those reviews will be a lot more trusted by new players as well. I'm usually against EA, but in your case, you're trustworthy, and produce quality stuff.
