Oh god, I switched off all performance settings and now everything is running extremely laggy and stuttering constantly, even when I turn the settings back onMy guess is performance mode in the drivers.

(This is for NVIDIA, but I'd assume similar things for AMD).
Short answer; on the driver you can set the card to ignore vsync, and just render as fast as possible. On Starfield that might mean you get 70 frames / second, on Love of Magic (because it's such a simple game to calculate and render) you can end up getting 1,000 frames/second, and your graphics card having to work over-time.
They're separate, but you can load your previous playdo all the books go into one folder or are they meant to be played seperate?

They're played separate; each one will create an end-of-game savegame that can be played on the next one.do all the books go into one folder or are they meant to be played seperate?
so after book one just open the game in book 2 and load from book one right? if i read that rightThey're separate, but you can load your previous play
Yeah, after you finish book 1, open book 2 and continue playing; it'll ask you if it should open the end-of-game save from Book 1 (Act6.sav) and go from there with all your stats and things retained.so after book one just open the game in book 2 and load from book one right? if i read that right
alright thank you both very muchYeah, after you finish book 1, open book 2 and continue playing; it'll ask you if it should open the end-of-game save from Book 1 (Act6.sav) and go from there with all your stats and things retained.
Yeah, several characters wrote themselves far larger roles than initially intended. But that's how it *should* be, I think. You fall in love with them, and help them tell their stories. The other thing...I can't believe I'm about to admit this...is that I wrote and "published" an erotic novel that was around 750,000 words. Considerably longer than The Lord of the Rings. And while writing it, I fell in love with two side characters to the point that I gave them vastly more significant roles than I'd originally outlined. Because the characters become someone you didn't necessarily expect, don't they? It's not just Bella, but I see it all over Book 1 vs. 2 and 3. Letting your characters write themselves a different story is, to my mind, the very best sort of writing.
Fully agreed. You fall in love with them, and help them tell their stories.
