Wanted to ask if there's an easy way to consume the story of the game? Played through a while ago to somewhere in Book 2, and while I was drawn in by the story, the gameplay mechanics to progress/get scenes for new story content could get a bit tedious. I've searched the thread and looked at the wiki but there doesn't seem to be a definitive answer, so just taking a shot at asking if there's a way to purely consume the story without missing anything?
You can skip any combat (press 0 to zero out the enemy's HP), and the Wiki will guide you through the day to day interactions.

No idea what you're asking here. You could try to set the combat difficulty to casual(which makes it basically impossible to and then follow the game guides on the wiki to ensure you don't miss anything...but that's basically all you can do. There's a lot of side content and secrets and so on so those tow things are all you can do if you basically want just the story while still ensuring you don't miss anything.

well, for purely story, i found it took MANY playthroughs of ALL 3 books (this was BEFORE the NG+ stuff was added in.....) so i don't believe there's a simple way to do that. hell, on my first complete playthrough i never even did the storyline to go get the dragon egg!!!!!
